Default found my way here
hello.. someone told me to come to this forum. since I had gastric bypass..

I started my journey about 3 years ago, looking for a way to gastric bypass done. I was finally approved by my insurance May 3rd 2007 and I had to go through some steps.. I had to take a 8 week class. and do all my pre-op stuff.. I finally had surgery on Jan 29th 2008..

my highest weight was 360lbs, in November when I started my classes. I lost 36lbs by the time my surgery day came around...

as of today..
from November - I have lost 90lbs
surgery- 54lbs...

I still have 140lbs to go before i get to my goal of 130lbs...

This surgery has forever changed my life.. I'm happier, more energy, loving to exercise!!

Good to hear from you!!! Glad you made it! There are some really great, supportive people hanging around here!

Your story is inspirational. We're in about the same "graduating class"...I had surgery Feb. 4th.

i had mine jan 28th, LapBand though. i have only lost 42, that shows what a big difference the two are. you are doing great!
