Morning all...well i guess i've been good most of the week...since even despite the ice cream, i dropped another pound slow but sure the weight is coming off. I even got my lazy bum up this am and forced myself to workout before work today. It was nice out this am. Hoope everyone is doing well. Work will probably be busy since i'm the only dr there today. But that's ok since it will help make the day go faster. I'm looking forward to my weekend off. alright guys...have a great day!!!!!

Hi everyone! How are you all?? I haven't been here in forever! I totally fell off the wagon and got run over by it and trampled by the horses pulling it! I don't have a lot of time this am but I wanted to peek in and say hi. I'll post again later with my sob story.

Hi to everyone else. Hope you all have a great day! I am off to work. Hope to get some projects accomplished today besides just teaching my kids.

Morning all!!

Just eating my bran flakes and thought I'd check in. GG, great for you!! I've learned that when the weight comes off s-l-o-w-l-y it usually stays off, so that's fantastic!!

Alicia, that Heely's story sucks, I know how you feel. I think you should just let it go, though. I'm sure she was happy with the gift she got and has forgotten all about it. As for my baking, it's kind of like when you're around it so much you just don't care, know what I mean. I actually am starting to get grossed out by frosting...funny cause I was the kid who ate all the frosting and left the cake on her plate

Molly, welcome back! Love to hear your story sometime.

Well, as usual I got my workout in before 7 am. If I don't get up early and do it, it doesn't get done, so 's what I've been doing since the beginning of Sept. Hopefully the scale will start moving soon, it's getting pretty aggravating (although, my butt and thighs and upeer body are shaping up nicely!!). I've been doing Firm tapes. GG, I've noticed you do them...do you find them effective?

Well, hello to everyone else, hope you all have a lovely day. I think it's going to be upper 70's here (which is nice after two weeks of 80's), and then into the 60's tomorrow..yay!!! I got my DD the cutest fall clothes, and can't wait to put them on her!!

Later!

pmasci- yes i think the firm tapes have helpd..however i've really only done them a total of 3 times...just got tape last week...but i do think they are effective. i like the workout i get from them. I'm finally starting to feel like i can follow the routine. The one i have has some quick moves..and even though i'm a good dancer and have always enjoyed aerobics classes..i struggles on one section of the firm...but the last time i did it..i felt like i was getting it down. have you ever checked out the firm website. they give you a free 30 days subscription with the dvd i have...and i was thinking about seeing if it was worth the money. I find that i have to "Switch" up my dvd's because if not, i get bored...so i rotate between the firm, yoga and pilates.

Morning Everyone!

GG ~ excellent!!! congrats on the weight loss!!! your ticker is goin' dowwwnnnnn:-).

Welcome back Molly!

Hey there Kerry ~ have a great day at school.

Pam ~ I love to bake and I find that when I'm doing it a lot that I have no desire to eat it. Unfortunately, cookies are my favorite thing to bake ... and eat. Post pictures of some of your cool stuff. I took a cake decorating class last fall ~ it was fun.

Hi Lisa ~ back to the grindstone again this week?

Alicia ~ I read your story about the heeley's just didn't have time to respond. What a sweet person you are.... And, you're obviously raising your DD to be just as generous and kind. I don't think that I'd buy her the shoes at this point. However, I'd be on the lookout for them on sale or at a garage sale??? That way, you could bring a smile to this little girl's face w/o spending a lot of $$$. What did DH decide about the job(s)?

Michelle ~ I am so proud of you!!!!!!!!! One day at a time sweetheart....

Sheila ~ you are one seriously good gal.... thanks for being so honest and sharing your story.

Hanna ~ hi there little honeycakes! Did you get to go to the knitting shop? I hope so.

Hi to everyone else that I'm missing. These have been such busy days and I need to get rolling now for an appointment with my dermatologist.

Oh, before I forget... I need some fun ideas! DH is taking DS camping for the weekend with BoyScouts and I just decided to have a "girl's night" Friday night. Does anyone have any good ideas? I'm goin' for pure, unfiltered, unadulterated silliness????

Good morning everyone!

GG congratulation on the loss!!! yeah!!! that it great! don't worry about the ice cream, you will be just fine!!!!

Welcome back Molly!

Pam wow you sure have a project in your hands w/those cookies, too dangerous for me!

Lisa hello! have you heard anything about the job you interviewed with? I am sorry I didn't respond sooner, I don't know what happened to me! I am glad you had a good time visiting friends and at the wedding. I never been to a catholic wedding before, Jewish weddings can be pretty long too, I love weddings!

Joan hello! Yes I did get to the knitting shop, oh my G-d I love it there! I am about to finish my jacket, all I have left to do is hide all the ends off the yarn from adding a skein when I run out of yarn. I will post pictures later probably tomorrow. Did you start looking for a project to knit? As far as your ladies night out, how about going to a mini spa? you know me, I am always up for that! LOL.

Michelle great job! it is not going to be easy, but it will be worth it! we are here for you!

Sheila you are the best! you are true friend!

Lauren how are you? how is your son? feeling better?

Kerry you are a busy woman! have things settled at home?

Today I got early, usually DH wakes up w/Sean and gets him ready for school, I knew he was really tired, I got up instead, usually Sean is much more oppositional w/me than him, I was a little cautious, didn't want to have to get DH out of bed, YEAH!!! succeeded!!! it was actually pretty good! Sean even ate breakfast, which he has not been doing lately. I am so glad to start the day like this!!! this is huge!!!!
I have a buys day today, I am cooking dinner for one of the ladies in my book club, she just had her second baby, I am not sure what I am making for them she said DH doesn't eat to many vegetables, so I think I am going to grill chicken breast, cook a rice and I am going to make a salad, I didn't want the chicken to be to plain so I am going to go to epicurious.com and find a some kind of fresh fruit relish to go on top of the chicken like a mango or pineapple thing to go w/it. I am meeting a friend for lunch at the Peruvian restaurant, her favorite, it is pretty good! Afterwords I think I am going to go get a manicure have not gotten one in a long time and my hands are looking pretty bad.
I am not going to the gym today, I don't have the energy today, but I will walk the little dude. Does that count?
Well I got to go get the chicken out to defrost. See you all later.
Have a great day!

Hanna

Hi All,

Hanna, My mom taught me to crochet when I was young. She's a righty, I'm a lefty, so I crochet righty. No clue how to knit though....and honestly, I've never made anything more impressive than a big snake! You know, Peter is like that with me & DH. He is always more ODD with me. DH usually gets him up and dressed, because if I do, we end up fighting. But mornings are always a challenge with him. BTW, he's feeling better today...everyone slept in their OWN beds, ALL night!!

Molly, Nice to see you!! Hope you don't have any permanent hoof prints!

Sheila, Good for you sticking to your guns with DS.

Laurie, I sooo want a crackberry! I have access to e/m on my cell, but I want more!!

Alicia, what a sweet story about the bday gift.

Michelle, Great job on making it through dinner and the night!! You can do it!
Hi Joan, Karen, Lisa, GG, Pam, Kerry!

Hey all -

Just a quick buzz by. Routine is shot all to heck this week as I'm on vacation (you'd think that I'd have all kinds of time to do things but without the structured routine nothing seems to be working. )

Pick up the pieces next week, I guess. Seems to me that I'm broken far more than I'm "on the band wagon". Bleh.
