Alicia- No I grew up in Northern Maryland. My mom moved down there after her and dad split.

Didn't get to the beach cause the traffic was crazy and not worth sitting in.

Mornin' All,

I think I have finally caught up on sleep, went to bed at 8 last night, but I think it was closer to 9 by the time we all fell asleep. Peter is miserable sick with a cold. Poor kid, DH is home with him today and he's missing his pumpkin picking trip. Last year he wasn't allowed to go because he was being bad. I told DH to bring him if it wasn't raining and then bring him home, instead of leaving him at daycare, but he didn't want to.

RR, hope you get caught up on sleep!

Laurie, you're doing awesome! Keep up the good work!

John

Off to read!

Morning All,
It is another sunny warm fall day here. I am hoping that after my meeting tonight, I might be able to squeeze in a walk. I didn't get much sleep last night. So I am tired today. I have a lot of things on my mind with work and home issues. So I am hoping that things smooth out soon and I don't give into my emotional eating habit.
RR hope things go good for you today. So how are things now that the witch has flown off on her broom?
Lauren I hope that Peter starts to feel better. Sorry to hear that he had to miss his pumpkin picking trip again. Glad you caught up on your sleep.
GG hope things go well for you today. Great job on getting your workout in last night.
Hi John enjoy your day at work!
Laurie you are just doing a great job getting your work outs in. Keep up the good work.
Hi to everyone else. Hope you are all having a great day!
More later,
Kerry

Hi Karen! Did you get a better price on fixing the car? What about your insurance, do they cover any of it?

:Welcome: I hope you get over your cold really quick! Godsgirltmm

Momica to you too! Baby steps is a good plan, it is easy to follow and before you know it baby is running, LOL.

Joan how was your anniversary any thing fun?

Alicia I hope he doesn’t take the offer in Vegas, it would be so much better if you can all be together. I will keep you in my thoughts.

John how nice that you were able to spend time w/your mom!

Lauren when are you moving?

Laurie have a great day at work today, wow you are so good about your routine! good for you!

GG your work sure sound hectic, I hope you have a great day today! good for you for eating healthy and getting your exercise

I am doing a little better, yesterday was crazy, I was in the car all day. The called me from school at 8 AM to tell me the were out of meds for Sean, I was not happy, wouldn't you think they would let me know they were running low on the meds instead of oh we are all out, so I had to drive to San Diego, didn't even have a chance to drink my or take a shower. I came back home to find out I forgot it was my friends birthday and I was suppose to go out for breakfast w/her, so instead we went out for a rushed lunch, it was pretty good though we went to Pei Wei, then back in the car to go pick Sean up from school and take him to the psychiatrist, traffic was horrible on the way back it took us a little over 1 hr. to get back home. I was wiped! DH came home early and helped w/putting Sean to bed, we had a very nice romantic evening, that was great! Today I am taking it very easy! I am not going to far, I am going to the gym for one hour and then to the knitting shop and I am going to sit there and knit and relax, I am sure we will order some food and eat there with the owner, I really like her a lot! I am finishing my wool jacket, I already put it all together now I am just putting on the collar and hiding all the ends of the yarn, it is gorgeous! I will post pictures when it is all done.
I started the day good today, so far, I had healthy breakfast one scrambled egg and a cup of coffee.

Have a great day every one!

Michelle: If you don't mind me commenting on your post yesterday. Your problem with alcohol. I had the same issue I got to the point I did drink every night and every weekend I was drunk before 7 p.m. Then one day I decided to stop that wasn't what I was wanting my kids to see. I was lonely my DH was gone all week and we just didn't have alot of time with each other or as a family. I know the circumstances are somewhat different but you have got to have wheel power and you have got to just do it. my suggestion get rid of the alcohol completely. I had too. I drank like that for a year. Not good.........I am here if you need me.

Hey all...just popping i for a sec. Hope everyone is having a good day.
Very busy baking 225 COOKIES for the spring fair at our school next week ( i have a small home based baking business, in case I didn't tell you), and I've only got about 90 done so far...tehy are huge cookies. Luckily I don't have to decorate them, that is going to be an activity for the kids. It should take me another day or two (as I can only do 9 at a time in the oven), will probably finish them up next week.

Anyway, has anyone heard from Rooster since his eye dr. visit??? Curious how that went.

will try to check in later, my timer's beeping!!

Pam you need a BIGGER oven. If you can only do 9 cookies at a time that will take 4 ever. Oh, I would so be in trouble if I was a Baker. How do you resist all the goodies?

Hanna, driving makes me really tired. I know it sounds silly because it's just sitting. But it really does. The knitting shop sounds like such a nice place.

Joan, still recovering from the anniversary?

Kerry, good luck at your weigh in/meeting.

Hey, to everyone else.

My DD has a good friend. Well yesterday was the friends Birthday. The family is really bad off. They don't even have a car. Dad is always in trouble with the law and so on. Well DD wanted to get her something. So she got her a shirt and earrings. Another neighbor made her a cake. I didn't have wrapping paper so DD said she would put the stuff in a shoebox. Fine. Come to find out she puts the stuff in my sons Heely shoe box. DH said the girls face lite up as she thought she was getting Heelys. I Feel AWFUL. I would of stopped DD if I had known. Now I fell like I should go and get the girl a pair. I know she was happy with what DD got her, but still...

Well I haven't exercised in over a week. I feel guilty, but not enough to exercise. I'm awful, huh?

Talk later, everyone have a great afternoon!

Michelle:GREAT JOB!! I know it is hard but you can do it and you will do it. Loneliness can hurt so bad at times but find different projects to do and before you know it time will fly and you will have to do it all over again.

hey all...well today was a fairly busy day at work. The other dr was there today however, so i did actually get a lunch break. I'm pretty wiped out today though. So i was bad and didn't get my butt out to exercise..and i had some ice cream at work today...and tomorrow's weight in...so we'll see how bad i've been this week (sort of have had more beer this weekend than i should have). But oh well. I did eat mostly well today, except for the ice cream LOL.
lois- i know its hard to exercise sometimes...but man does it help
michelle-good for you. I'm usually pretty good and don't have alcohol but 1-2times a week..but i noticed that i was drinking a lot more of it last week. I really need to back off.

pam-wow that's a lot of cookies...and did you not even steal one or two..i'd be in bad shape with cookies around LOL

shiela- hey there.

hannah- glad to hear dh came home earlier and you guys had a nice night. I hope you enjoy your knitting tomorrow. And yes, most days are pretty hectic...but that really is the life of a veterinarian...you never can predict how your day is going to be.

alright all..i'll check in tomorrow. I'll keep my fingers crossed i don't gain..but i know i haven't been the best this week.
