Good Morning!
Trying to pry my eyes open with a strong cup of coffee.
I had a horrendous headache all afteroon long yesterday. Went to the gym and it felt a bit better after that, then it came back. I think it may be a combo of needing new glasses, the extreme heat and just plain tension in my neck. I ended up taking sinus meds which knocked me out. Woke up with the same headache and a long day to face.
Same old, same old work wise today, but we are hoping to take tomorrow morning off and go to a farmer's market we haven't been to before.

Ya'll have a great one!

Good morning girls,

I can't believe it, I was laying in bed waiting for Jake to finish up in the shower, and I fell back to sleep! And he didn't even bother to wake me up. I guess he was afraid to, knowing that I have so much trouble sleeping.

LC, Yeay, TGIF!

Cat, Feel better real soon. How are your eyes, anyway? I remember that problem you were having with the floaters, does that still bother you? I sure hope that heat wave breaks soon for all of you, and please don't send it our way!

We have ballet this morning and a playdate this afternoon, so that will take care of most of the day. I pulled out a Chicken Divan from the freezer and that will be our supper this evening along with some fresh garden tomatoes.

What's happening in your world today?

I am back went off to my diet blog and then got reading some of the others.
I am sooooo tired this morning it is awful. Then I jumped on the scales and they are up 4 pounds from my ticker I am hoping it is just TOM who I wish would hurry up and arrive. Not much happening on my towel today. Life is boring today.

Femme- I am with you on the tired. Hope your headache goes away, there is nothing worse than a headache that lasts for days. Take care of yourself.

Cottage-I have visions of you spinning around the room in your pink tutu. Have fun at ballet class. Have a great day.

A big hello to the rest of you chicks.

Good morning! Thanks for the coffee which is much needed after a bad night. I just have too many semi-stressful things going on in my life at the moment to sleep well. Wouldn't it be great to be able to take out your brain at night and put it in a jar on the dresser?

Today is BIG BAKE day around here as the Church sale starts at 8 tomorrow morning. I used to get up at three to bake for sales but I've come to my senses! I won't list what I'm making because it would be considered FOOD PORN but it'll be my tried and true old-fashioned recipes. I put my name on the labels and it feels good to hear people ask where my stuff is. Only five of us bake in our small congregation but we sure fill up those tables. By the way, I have learned to not even take a taste when I do the Big Bake because one cookie leads to another and another! Y'all know. Besides, after cooking for 60 years, I know what these recipes taste like.

That'll sort of fill up my day today. Tomorrow is the yard and bake sale, a parish BBQ that evening, a baptism Sunday morning and then The Girls and I are going to visit the Hyper Pypers for an overnight. If I'm not around, you'll know why!

Enjoy your Friday!

Ruth, I'm 100% behind your idea of putting your brain in a jar during the night! I have an awful time turning if off at night to sleep. I sure wish I could be there to help you bake this morning, it sounds like fun! I hope your weekend goes well and that you can enjoy it. Take care!

Morning chickens. I am so happy to stay home today. Lots of work to catch up on, but no driving required, yahoo. My neighbor should be coming soon for walkies, so I can also try to catch up on exercise, which fell by the wayside this week. Eating wasn't too bad though.
Ruth, not sure I could bake up a storm without tasting. More power to you!
Cat, hope your head feels better soon. Terrible to have to keep functioning with an achey head.
cottage, does DD have sugar free flavored lattes?
Have a great Friday.
littlechick, boredom sounds fun. Maybe do something nice for yourself today!

Today is the last day of week 1 of training. So far I have been so pleased - a little whining about the hours (not sure if it is more from them or me!), but all has been going well. Thirten hours on Wednesday was killer! Tonight Scott and I will veg at home - just what I need to recover some of my energy. Saturday we have plans to go out with friends.

Staying OP has been fine through lunch, but that darn dinner hour. Still, better than nothing.

We all sound pretty busy and tired at the end of a long week. Hope everyone finds the time to recuperate over the weekend.

Ally

Schmoodle- Morning I would do something nice for myself if I had any ambition. I can't even get out of my jammies.

Ruth- enjoy your baking. I love to bake and I can do it and not even lick the spoon. Have fun with the bake sale.

Cottage- You should try dancing it is fun. I have joined an adult tap and jazz class starting in sept. Can't wait.

Morning chickies!

Femme Feel better friend. I hope that you can get some rest this weekend.

Ruth I am sure that your tried and true recipes are delicious! I love going to church potlucks and such where everyone pulls out their favorites.

Cottage Have a fun day carting the girly girls to and fro. I have got to get on my game and get some things frozen and ready. Although I have been putting in a lot of hours at school, I am still in a bit of denial that the alarm will be going off at 5:15 on Monday morning.

LC Do you have little ones at your house today? I hate TOM and what it does to the scale!!

Amasam Glad to hear that your week has gone well.

Me- HORRENDOUS eating yesterday pretty much sums it up. I am struggling the last week or so to keep it together. I know part of it is just piss poor planning. I need to get that under control b/c if I can't do it when I am home, it certainly isn't going to get easier when I go back to work.

We have a super busy day, so I need to get moving. Chat !

Good mornin all! So I finally saw the Simpsons movie last night, which is sort of the glue that bonds my me and my brother, and it was fun. The movie popcorn was my dinner (not really on plan, I know, but i was under calories for the day...)
Also TOM came which may explain my diet woes for the past week.

Cottage, I have to say, I love hearing what your kiddies are up to. Mine have no camp and no school for this past week and the coming two, which borders on relaxing and torturous -- so much freetime leaves a lot of space for havock!

Cat -- feel better!!
LC -- TGIF is right!! Cuuuuuute kittie!!
Ruth -- enjoy the baking. i love that stuff. too hot lately, though! plus, baking with splenda just isnt the same.
Schmoodle -- enjoy the exercise! i've been off this week, too, for some inexcusable reason.
Amasam -- TGIF!!
Kiko -- yeah, planning food can be annoying can't it??

Enjoy the day, everyone. I know I'll try to get through without yelling at a child!! TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am always running behind.....

Today is my last day of work before my time off! I'm SO EXCITED! I need this time off SO badly.

My legs are screaming at me from doing inventory Wednesday. I still have a hard time walking right, and I even took a bath last night trying to soak and make them feel better. I think it made them worse.

But my Sleepytime Tea has helped me sleep the last several nights. I seem to always wake up groggy but that's ok.

Well I need to get a move on so I can open my store on time. Hope you girls have a great day.

Lisa
