Hi! Just here for the first time tonight. I read the 3FC book a few weeks ago and just loved it. Who knew a diet book could be so entertaining?
Let's see. I'm a single female. 38 years old. Determined to be a healthy 40.
I've been doing low-carb since the end of March. After years of dieting and trying to lose in spite of being hypothyroid, it's finally coming together. It's really tough for me to lose and I have to be good at least 80% of the time if I have any hope of at least staying the same.
When I started this time, my goal was to not be obsessed about this. Over the years, I've come to understand what works best for me. I've finally gotten to the point of putting it all together long-term and it's working! I'm so happy!
I started at (gulp...first time to announce it!) 280. As of this morning, I was 258. My goal to be at 255 by the 4th of July is right on track! I should, at least, almost get there.
I'm sticking with a goal of 2 pounds a week...slow and steady...and, hopefully, more in control of my emotions re: food. So far, so good.
So, that's me! Looking forward to hanging out here!
