I have to say Melinda as well, but Blake would be a.ok in my book. Lakesha is good, but there's more to idol than JUST the voice and that's about the only criteria she has really going for her. Besides her weight...YEAH, it IS a factor, as much as everyone on a diet board would hate to admit. She's also a bit old fashioned. She's more an Aretha Franklin than a 2007 pop idol. Melinda's been consistently good, no matter what the genre. And Blake's shown he will go out on a limb, and its worked for him each and every time. He's the most original, whether he's the best voice or not. And that originality counts for a lot too.
I love love LOVE both Blake and Jordin. I think they are both younger and cooler and just more what it really means to be an American Idol. I don't think Melinda needs the show at all, so I hope she doesn't win because she'll be fine without it, ya know? and Lakisha, well, the only thing about her is her voice, and even with that, she's had some bad weeks. For me, Jordin has the youth, the fun, the sparkling personality, and more of "the look"...oh, and, of course, the voice But then there's Blake with his fun hair and his creativity and obvious knack for musical arrangements...I'd be happy with either one (although, again, I think Blake might not need to WIN it all at this point--I think he's got a career ahead of him even if he doesn't win, so I'm pulling just a hair more for Jordin).
I voted for Blake because I want him to win but I think probably Melinda will. I'd be alright either way, actually but I just really like Blake, especially after Bon Jovi night.
