Default Subway-Low Carb Wrap Gone

Subway has refortmated their menu and they took the low carb wrap off the menu and replaced the wrap with a white flour wrap that is really no better than white bread.

I'm devistated as this was my fast food save haven for a low carb choice. I didn't purchase the wrap and I wrote to Subway.

What do the rest of you do for sandwich choices while eating on the run? I've was diagnosed as pre-diabetic last fall, have done a good job controlling it with better food choices and exercise.

I don't want to fall back on unhealthy fast food choices. Any suggestings would be appreciated.

Default

Most fast food places now offer salad. I would choose that over a sandwich. Arby's Market Place sandwiches are close to whole wheat, though not totally. If I am in a bind, and need to stop someplace that doesn't have anything I can eat, I will at least toss out half the bread, and rip off the edges, so I only eat what is necessary to keep my fingers clean.
