Hi Brandy We're really glad to have you

I had a doctors visit like that once. I went to see him because of a sharp shooting pain down my back and leg. He whispered something to the nurse and left the room. The nurse then told me the doctor wanted me to lose weight and do ab crunches, and my back pain would go away. He couldn't tell me that himself?

Good luck

Hi babybran!

I know how you feel! I've had visits like that, too!

I remember being on the gurney in the operating room getting ready to deliver my second son via C-section and my doctor cutting through all my abdominal layers to get to my son. He said, "Wow! This sure is a lot of fat to have to cut through to get this baby out!" I remember feeling bad EVEN THEN that I had so much fat! We have the whole delivery on video tape, so every time I watch it I go right back to that feeling again. At a time that should be happy it seems so sad that I first think of my doctor's comments about my fat!

Hugs to you, babybran!
from someone who knows exactly how you feel!

Cheryl

Hi Brandy! Welcome to 3FC!!!

Cheryl, I know what you mean. I had an ultrasound with my oldest daughter. The dr said well you cant see a lot of detail about the baby due to all the fat that you have. I wanted to smack him.
