my favorite snack or ohmygodi'mrunningsolate breakfast...Kashi TLC chewy peanut bars. Mmmm yum...i think the calories are 200...but high in fiber and protien...so worth it on those mornings i'm running so late i have to eat on the run (i try not to do that often, but sometimes that snooze button just has to be hit multiple times).
i live by those on tuesday mornings. That is usually the only day i do a "grab - and - dash" breakfast...i have to be at the barn by 6.30 so i can take care of the horses before work at 10. Sometimes 6.30 comes too early LOL.
I'll have to try those. I like Luna's "Zesty Lemon" bars. They have a very intense lemon flavor but they don't fill me up. Do the Kashi bars fill you up for several hours? Breakfast is a problem for me as I'm not a cereal eater. I tend to go thru cycles (and get burned out on) yogurt, fruit or toast. I *can not* do w/o my coffee though!!
kashi fills me up...love it. Also they make these great frozen lunches...see i HATE frozen meals...use to live by them...but the preservatives in them make me want to gag...Kashi makes their meals fresh...no preservatives...so very tasty...chicken taste like fresh baked chicken.
As for breakfast..my is usually the routine..either a kashi tlc bar or yorgurt with my low sugar all natural BareNaked granola with my espresso and one cup of steamed milk...i don't regret the initial expense of my espresso machine...worth every penny and saving money and calories from not always stopping at starbucks!
Yum, I love luna bars...I don't find that any bars fill me up, though. Or any meal replacement things in general, actually. I guess I am a "meal person" lol.
Nothing really feels me up for long these days, (I am getting the right amount of calories, actually a little more then I like) I don't have a problem resisting hunger, but appetite is another story...
