Cool New to posting, not new to diets!

Hello Everyone!!

Like the title says I'm new to posting messages, but not new to diets. I just decided to try something new. Hopefully I can find some tips and encouragement and maybe even help a few of you along the way!!

Hi Holly, Welcome.
There are alot great ideas here. Are you on any specific exercise or food routine? Fitday.com is a great tool to keep track of your food, exercise and journal. Good luck. Hope to hear more from you.

Default A little more

Hello,

It’s me again. It just occurred to me that you may want to know more about me?!?! Crazy thought!

I live in Minnesota with my husband (married for almost 5 years) and we have boy/girl twins that are 17 months old. I don’t have any hobbies because I don’t have time =)

I’ve had an issue with food every since I can remember. I recall this one time when I was little and supper was almost ready. I got so mad at my mom because she said it was going to be another 15 minutes!! I remember throwing myself on the floor and crying! (I really wasn’t that bad of a kid)

My weight as yo-yoed since the beginning of high school. I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have to care about my weight or what I ate and I think I’ve come to the realization that I probably never will. All I need to do is find out how to be “OK” with that. I’m workin on it!!

Hi Holly!

Welcome!

Congratulations on being a mom of TWINS! I had just one child at a time and didn't have time for ME until they were in JUNIOR HIGH!!!!

Most of us here are in an ever-watchful mode when it comes to weight loss. When I finally "got" it that I could NEVER AGAIN eat like I used to eat if I wanted to maintain my weight loss, it was a real eye-opener for me. Then I realized that I'd have to re-adjust my plan as I lost even MORE weight or I'd go back up in weight. Must be ever careful, I'm afraid!

Try to get as much sleep as you can, and weigh yourself often. I didn't do either of those things, and I believe that contributed to my weight gain after having my sons.

You will love it here! Enjoy!

Cheryl

Hi girls,

I'm new to this also ~ posting, not dieting! I am going to give this a try .... My youngest child just turned 4 and I'm at the same weight now as I in my ninth month of pregnancy with her. I feel so unmotivated right now! Any words of encouragement is soooooo appreciated. I just noticed that Cheryl has lost 72 pounds. Amazing!

Default first post

Hey everyone-
I am a stay-at-home to a girl 4 1/2 and a boy 2 1/2. I feel so sluggish and irritable most of the time and they have so much energy. I can't keep up with them.
Motivation is hard especially with little ones. It's so easy to pick at the food your cooking for your family. I completely sympathize with everyone. I have been on a diet since Monday. This has been the longest week ever but has totally been worth it. I have already lost 8lbs. Granted it is probably mostly water weight but it feels good anyhow. My diet requires drinking alot of ice water. Did you all know that a gallon of ice water will burn 123 calories? I've really been wanting to eat some chocolate since Valentine's Day but have been able to avoid it. I wish everyone luck and hope you all achieve your goals!!! Thanks for listening.
