I know you'll all agree that we are really thankful for the free services here at 3FC. The sisters offer all of this support and information with no charges to us. There are a couple of ways though that we can help out.
If you are thinking about buying anything at Amazon, why not help out 3FC at the same time? You can do this by clicking on the button for the Amazon "store" in the upper right hand corner of the screen on the PURPLE tool bar. A portion of your purchase price will be given to 3FC by Amazon. It doesn't increase your price at all, but it does help out 3FC. You can use any of the Amazon.com links that you see on the site in order to help contribute to the site.
Also, BTW, in case you didn't know it, you can view the message boards "ad free" for a minimal charge. I think it's like $15 for 6 months. A very small investment to be rid of the annoying ads and make your pages load quicker.

Well, sheesh! Just as soon as I catch up in posts on #1077 I see that we have moved to #1078! lol
Ok, I'm gonna try to remember all the personals I need to say so if I forget you I'M SORRY
Ammi - As far as the sea salt vs regular salt I don't know if there is really going to be a difference, in a pinch I have used regular table salt, even for netis, and it still helps, so....I hope you're feeling better!
Jill - Congrats on your willpower! That is so totally amazing. I wish I had been that determined this last week! Keep up the good work!
Sandy - Congrats on setting an exercise goal! I found that setting a goal is what got me motivated to try and stick to this. Even though I fell off the wagon this past week, I'm going to get right back on andjust work even harder. Good luck!
Nancy - I'm so sorry to hear about your BF. You are a beautiful and strong woman and I know you made a tough decision, but it was the right one. I just hope that this doesn't totally ruin your holiday! You deserve the best!
Kaylee - Welcome back! Been wondering where you were, missing your posts!
Ok...I had a brain fart and forgot everything else so if I missed you I'm sorry! I have been busy and stressed (yeah yeah excuses excuses.) So I have NOT been OP this week. I'm startingback again today. Weighed myself and I gained 3 lbs, so I'm at 340. Technically, if I can keep this off, I have made my goal for this month. But I'm going to see if I can get my weight back down to the 337 I was at last week. Talked with an old friend in Florida, turns out the was promoted to management and is trying to see if he can hire back on my husband, which would bean AWESOME career move for him. But this means he's have to leave, like, now, well, in January. I'm waiting to hear something back, since the big hiring boss and my husband didn't really click, but our friend is very persuasive. This wouldn't be that big of a deal but I'd still have lots of packing to do and to try and sell our old house. And the company I work for pulled strings to get me hired on there permanently (I've been working through a temp agency for the past year) so I'd hate to up and leave them. And I could be getting wy ahead of myself for nothing. But I'll keep ya'll updated, if you care, or you can PM me. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday, you all deserve the best! Blessings to all!
Hello everybody! My holiday weekend has begun. Had a potluck lunch at work yesterday and I did very well. The shop is closed down for Christmas and we return on Wednesday.
I still have some shopping to do today. My family and I drew names this year and I pulled my sister-in-law Mary's name. On her wish list was a cutless can operner. I've located the store that sells them and the lady that works there told me they get daily shipments that quickly sell out. So I'll have to go there when they open today to see if I can nab one before they are gone.
I'm down to 356lbs., I lost 3lbs. this week.
I hope everyone is doing well and has a wonderful holiday weekend. Merry Christmas!! Colleen.
I have been so slack lately, ok so I know that I have been under the weather but I still feel rotten for not doing personal replies for so long I have even missed welcoming some new people here Well all I can do is say how sorry I am and that as soon as I am 100% better AND when Christmas is over and I have some breathing space, I will definitely get back on track here and keep up with you all.
I just wanted to wish you all a wonderful Christmas, and to thank you all for being here to share my weight loss journey with. Without all of you I know I would find this all much more difficult. Take care all, have a happy new year and happy dieting and big losses for 2007 for us all
I am so behind on personals! Everything has been so busy! I think after Christmas things will get a little less busy. The move shouldn't be really all that hectic since we have movers coming to pack us up. But I still have a ton to clean out and organize.
I got up and did my 10 again today. This is quite a milestone for me you know...I actually have exercised, albeit in definate moderation, all but two days out of 9 or 10...I've lost count! Yay Me! I also have been at least somewhat watching what I eat, which is a major thing for me over the holidays. Feeling pretty good about that.
Please forgive the lack of personals. I'm bad at that the best of times and being the end of the week and with all the things that go with it I'm a bit rushed. BUT! Since I may not get back here over the weekend thanks to the many holiday things going on, I wanted to say:
So many happy holiday wishes--the season is really upon us! And today is the first day of winter (which really makes me wish it were snowing here instead of raining )!
I survived both holiday parties yesterday. I didn't eat ANYTHING at the lunch one--I had my soup beforehand and my chicken afterwards (that I brought from home), and that was it. Then I went to Jeff's office party for dinner, and they did a whole pig roast. I wasn't going to have anything, but Jeff said he would feel better if I ate something (I think he just didn't want to go through the buffet line alone ), so I had literally less than 1/4 cup potato salad and a scoop of pig (whatever part it happened to be). The pig was quite bland, so I literally only had 2 small bites and gave the rest to Jeff. That was it. He went back for a piece of Oreo pie and kept asking me if I wanted to try it, but I said no. Then I had my pbj sandwich in the car on my way home and then some leftovers for dinner at home (whole-wheat pasta w/shrimp and bruschetta in marinara sauce).
We just found out we got the apartment we wanted! YAY! I am so happy because they are really nice and in a great area. But what I am really excited about is they have a big nice work out room that is 24/7! That is really important to me because I get sort of nervous working out in front of people. So I could go really early in the morning or later at night. And they are fairly new apartments so the equipment looks good.....like equipment you would see in a gym. So I am happy about that to say the least. Now I won't have any excuse to not work out! *lol* I am just happy we got the apartment because that was a big thing to get done and it is out of the way now. I hope you all had a great day! Enjoy the weekend/holidays!

Hello everyone .. well so much for good intentions .. and I dont have much time cos my dad will be here soon and I have to help get my hunnys pressie off the trailer lol ..
I had a good NSV last night ... I grabbed my black suit jacket that I like to wear with my jeans and wow .. its too big!! Before when I used to wear it I couldnt really move my arms too good cos it was pretty tight .. but now I can cross over the front about ummm 6 inches!! Just realised I lost one of the buttons in my original state too lol .. been a while since I wore this jacket lol.
Last night my hunny came home .. and so did my daughter .. so I didnt get to come back online .. we ended up piling in the car (its a new one that his mum bought him!!! omg!) and going to McDonalds for dinner .. I know .. its naughty .. but I have decided as long as I can stay within my Xmas goal of 50 pounds lost I will have a happy Xmas lol .. I dont eat the fries .. but I did have 2 burgers, and no fizzy .. just a small OJ .. gotta admit . I loved every darn mouthful rofl. Been a while for sure! After dinner we braved the supermarket to get some groceries, then we came home .. unloaded .. cuddled and fed the dogs lol .. then we jumped back in the car and Scoot took us for a drive around to see the Xmas lights on some of the houses that had gone to extremes .. wow .. they were sooooo lovely .. and definitely put me into a XMas mood lol. After that we went to my work so that I could get in a little Xmas shopping at last lol .. got some new Car Mats for the new car, some wrist weights for me! Some 2kg weights for hunny and Ash, had to get some Xmas crackers for the trees .. annnd I also got a tin of cookies .. saves me baking rofl.
I dont know if I will have a chance to get back on here before Xmas .. so I would like to wish everyone a WONDERFUL and SAFE Holiday season, love and laughter to everyone, no guilt for the season .. and thank you for being on this journey with me ... youre all an inspiration HUGGIES
Ho Ho Ho
Katt
Oh .. PS ... got on the scales this morning .. and I almost fell off em .. had to do it 3 times before I was sure I read it right ... Im UNDER 270!!!! Will see if that holds over Xmas rofl.
Like everyone else, I feel bad for not being around much. That doesn't mean I'm off my plan, just haven't had time to post or the desire. I've still been exercising, but only 30 minutes most days, so I don't know if I will make my exercise goal YET AGAIN! Grrr.
I'm leaving to visit my parents tomorrow, 4 states away. It will be a long drive, especially since the morning is going to start off with freezing rain. It is hard to exercise at my parents, but I'm going to make sure I get at least 30 minutes a day.
My apologies for no personal messages. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!
Just had a rough day with the last minute shopping and keeping up with the baby. Heather had to work and we wanted to keep her at home. We went and grabbed a bite to eat and it was pretty well. I had two small peices of pizza, a salad, and water.
Better than it has been. The only real exercise that I got today was lugging around the baby and there was alot of that.
The day before we got alot of stuff moved, so there was little bit of exercise.
My Christmas present from my mother to me and Amanda was new jeans, coats, and shoes!! I picked out these awesome Nike running shoes. They are comfy. Maybe one day they can really be used for running!!
Just a quick post to wish everyone a happy, safe and fun Christmas. I hope you all get to spend it with those you love, doing exactly what you want to do.
We are off to my home town early tomorrow morning. We will spend Christmas Day with my sister and brother and their families and my mum and dad. This will be the first time Neil and I have done this, as we usually just spend the day on our own, relaxing. It is going to be pretty hot I think, so I am not too sure how I will go, but at least I should be more comfortable seeing as I am smaller now. I hope to still be able to get some walking in, even though it will probably be in the early morning or the evening.
Anyway... I hope you are all enjoying the weekend so far, and I look forward to catching up with you all again on Wednesday.
