Default Core vs Flex

Do you think you lose faster on core as opposed to flex? Right now I am on flex and I like the freedom that I have, but I keep hearing that there is more freedom on core, is that true? I love the fact that I can have whatever I want as long as I count the points. I feel very confused about core for some reason, is it anything like South Beach Diet? I did that for a few months and stopped losing weight after the first month so I'm a little nervous about doing core for fear of the same thing happening.

I guess what I'm really asking is, why would you recommend core as opposed to doing flex?

Sarah, I think core is great because there is very little counting. On flex I used to obsess over how many points I had left in the day. It was all I thought about! Now I don't have to worry about it. It all depends on how you "work", but it's worth a try I think!

My two cents worth: I just started WW (again) and have decided to give the Core plan a whirl. I have counted points in the past and that is what I'm really comfortable with, but I thought it might be time to try something new. After working the Core plan, I'm finding that I NEED to write down my foods for the day, I need that accountability. I was right on target, points-wise, so either way is about equal. I guess "trust your instincts" or "do what feels best for you" is what I'm trying to say.
