Freaks me out hard!
Totally off-topic -- nothing diet-y about this, but I wondered what you guys think.
I was watching Montel and Sylvia Browne was on there. She's a psychic, if you've never heard of her. Anyway, people are always asking her about this or that person in their lives who has passed away, wondering if they were "alone" when they died. Just now a lady asked about when her husband was dying, and clusters of lights hovered over his bed.
I tend not to believe this sort of thing, but then I remember when my sister died. We were with her in the room, and after a few minutes we left to go make phone calls. I went to the waiting room and there was another lady there who said, "I'm sorry to hear about your sister." I asked how she knew, and she said her father, who was also a hospice patient, had been in a sort of comatose state, but all of a sudden he had sat up in the bed and started motioning and talking to some unseen being (angels?). They thought he was about to die, but then he said something like "they were just passing by." Turns out he was in the room next to my sister, and at the very moment he had sat up in bed, she had died. We knew because we had her time of death, and they knew because they had also looked at the clock (thinking he was dying).
Doesn't that give you chills? All during this show today, I was practically in tears.
