Default Feeling Good Friday menu, 12/16

Alrighty! I'm all packed up and ready to go, so I might as well post it! (Geez, I wish I had a dollar for every time I've written that! ) (This isn't a completely Core meny -- toast and almonds will use points)

Breakfast: WhWh toast with Take Control spread, boiled egg
Snack: almonds
Lunch: salad with baby shrimp, reduced fat Feta, and olive oil dressing
Dinner: broiled fish fillet, broccoli, milk

And a whole lot of water. I mean it -- a WHOLE lot!

Linda, I don't think this is too much information. I think you could put in whatever you want. I put alot in mine as well. Lately, with the proposed diagnosis of cystitis I've been looking back at my menus to see if I've eaten things on the cystitis no no list that might have triggered flare ups. In that case, details come in handy.

Did you ever try the Cherry Garcia smoothie? I'm not sure if you were posting here or reading when we got that recipe. It really does taste alot like the cherry garcia ice cream and gets in a milk and a fruit. And...because of the pudding, they really fill me up. The frosty one is good too but doesn't get in a fruit.

Wow! Iam so glad this was posted..I just started Core and I needed ideas on breakfast food...actually all meals.
I have the Core materials but it helps to see what other people eat as well.
Now if I want bread(whole wheat of course) I count it in WAP right?

Frouf, I'd say you're either going to be very empty or very full by the time you go to bed. At this point, it could swing either way.

Sandra, your Cracker Barrel menu sounds soooo good to me. I might have to add that to my list of Christmas eating. I'm compiling a list of places I want to go during the 10 days I'm off. So far it's Dairy Queen, mexican food, a new Panda Express (chinese fast food) and now Cracker Barrel. Yummmm!

Sandra, I'm still suffering with the same problem that I've had since October 2nd. I don't know when I'll feel better but I keep trying. I've had a couple of ok days in there but besides that, pretty crummy. The don't eat cystitis menu goes on forever. It's depressing. Many of the foods are Core.

Kath, Jim and I are Panda Express junkies. We both love the orange chicken and I like the spicy chicken (like kungpao with peanuts). I haven't had it in more than a year but it's yummy.
