Melissa - I still have instant oatmeal for breakfast - and yes I have it at work? Would this not work for you? I just boil up some water and mix it up - I use the plain kind, but sometimes will add splenda or splash of sf vanilla syrup to sweeten it up.

Another option is to bring either ff yogurt or cottage cheese mixed w/fruit. You could certainly pack this up the night before and just munch along w/the rest of them?

Hope this works for you!

Oh yeah....I forgot to point out that this gives me a fruit and nearly a whole milk by the time breakfast is over.

Melissa, I didn't know you'd asked about turkey bacon. I don't know why it isn't but it isn't Core according to the CFC and the CFC official corrections. Neither is turkey sausage. Must be a lot of bad fat or something.

Sandra, I think it's a good excuse. Can you do some other non-foot activity? Anything helps!

I'm just a little bothered by the "feet or no feet" stance. What are you planning on doing with your feet if they keep hurting? And how will you hike with no feet?

Okay, I'm going to try and exercise for a little while. BBL.

Sandra, I definitely think that your foot pain is a good excuse and that you should not exacerbate the problem. I think you should find an exercise that does not use your feet. Light weights, wall push-ups, or even twisting in place (seriously, I did that a few times and felt it the next day! ).

Vickie, I guess that I should add turkey bacon and sausage to the list of things that I eat as core but aren't really. I only have them occasionally but they are very low in points. I guess they aren't core b/c they are processed? Who knows, but I like it.

Do your feet only hurt when walking? Would biking work? or would that also cause undue pain. I agree you should not do the walking if your feet hurt!

I hope everyone else is doing better than me. But I might count my cleaning/rearranging today as exercise. It would sure earn some APs, even if it wasn't my specific goal for the week!!

It's hot here, but I was thinking about going for a walk. I could get on the treadmill, but nah. Or the Gazelle, but nah. I think I'll just sit in the cool indoors and play on the computer.

OKAY!!! I did 20 mins on the gazelle. Not the 30 that I am supposed to do, but now I am going to move furniture, so I think that makes up for it.
