
You don't realize how much you appreciate basic schooling until you see a big lack of it!!
The board I used to be a member of has, IMO, 90% illiteracy. From the "I seen a guy..." to my favorite "your" (instead of "you're) ... you name it, they butcher the English language day in and day out. That's one of the main reasons I left, because I just couldn't take it anymore. And the worst part is that lots of these dingbats homeschool their children. I can acknowledge the occasional mistake, just because we're in a hurry, or our fingers get tangled up, or even that not everyone is a super typist ... but these people actually talk that way. To me, there is nothing worse than poor grammar, and no excuse for it.
So I wanted to say thanks to you guys. I realize it is the exception, but we're all pretty intelligent on this board! Spelling and grammar
are important, and I'm glad we all know it.
