I like her alot too, Kathy. When Anthony's gone, I'm not sure who I'll pick as my favorite.

Katpo 04-27-2005 09:26 PM

Noooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

Vickie 04-27-2005 09:44 PM

OMG, I am in shock! No way did either Constantine, Vonzell, or Anthony belong in the bottom 3 based on last night's performances. Scott should have gone home. When it got down to Anthony and Constantine, I was sure my poor Anthony was gone. What a travesty. Well, I voted, several times for Anthony. I can't do any more. Sheesh.

mumto2 04-27-2005 10:02 PM

Omg! ! I am in shock too. People must have assumed Constantine would get enough votes, but you know what happens when you assume. Why is Scott still there????? I don't understand who is voting for him.

Oh my gosh! I am so surprised. I wasn't here to watch the show as my own dh American Idol was performing tonight. ;) But I can't believe Scott wasn't even in the bottom three!! Lisa I think there is some strange cultic group somewhere voting for him. I'm just kidding. He does okay sometimes but he was not very good last night. Vonzell was definitely better than him. But that's what I get for not voting, right?

Katpo 04-28-2005 09:39 AM

I tried to vote and never could get thru. I would have been voting for Bo anyway so that wouldn't have helped Constantine, but sheeeeesh!!!

Now I'm about to go off on somebody. I know getting arrested in Hollywood is no big deal, but NO WAY IN &*(# is MY idea of an American Idol someone who is a domestic abuser. If, by some quirky wacky weird twist of fate, Scott wins this thing, that show is dead to me. I will never ever ever watch it again. And why did Corey Clark get disqualified in Season 2 for having an arrest record but Scott gets to stay? Is it because Scott disclosed it in the beginning? Does that even matter? Shouldn't there be a morals clause somewhere in there?

AARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!

Idealperson 04-28-2005 09:47 AM

Constantine????? What a surprise that was...!!!

Vickie 04-28-2005 09:52 AM

I wasn't watching back during the Corey Clark time but I heard that he didn't disclose the arrest and Scott did. I'm just sick. Constantine being voted off instead of Scott is the equivalent of Jennifer Hudson getting voted off instead of John Stevens last year. And, I LIKED John Stevens but clearly Jennifer Hudson had a better voice than him. I just wonder if this isn't rigged some how to make us all get upset and vote more than we have been. Somehow they are making money off the telephone calls. They have to be.

I really despise Scott's attitude and I think his voice is weak. I haven't liked him since way back in the beginning when he refused to be a team player and wouldn't practice with his group in one of the initial rounds. What a jerk.

Katpo 04-28-2005 11:12 AM

I'm with you, Vickie. The whole thing just makes me sick. I was practically in tears (I know! Over a TV show!) but this is THEIR lives and careers. I hope Constantine gets a great recording contract soon. He's going to be on Regis and Kelly next Monday.

As for Scott, you're absolutely right. Rotten attitude, weak voice, no stage presence IMO, and he's just a jerk. I do NOT like him one bit.

I was watching during Season 2 and remember that it was such a big deal for Corey to go. At the time, they sort of led everyone to believe it was the arrest itself instead of the failure to disclose, but whatever. Doesn't matter now.

Well last night was a surprise. Do you know who I think should get voted off next........PAULA!!!!! I think she really needs help. She is NOT good for the show. You shouldn't get emotional when it comes to the contestants getting voted off if you're a judge. I have to say though, Constantine was getting old with his kicks and that downwards stare. That really creeped me out. Anyway that's just my opinion. We'll see what happens next week. Can't just assume right...

Hi all, I don't watch AI ... just kind of listen while I'm doing my computer stuff ... so I don't really feel too qualified to offer my comments, although IMHO ... and please don't be offended anyone ... I personally thought Constantine sounded horrible this past week and was the right choice to be voted off but that's neither here nor there.

I agree with Kimmie that Paula is out of control. As a judge, shouldn't she be maintaining some degree of impartiality? There's supposed to be some kind of expose coming out on her, discussing a sexual affair she had with one of the AI contestants, with the speculation that she may be kicked from the show. I want to say it's going to air on ABC one day next week but I'm not sure though.

And the newest info out is that Bo was arrested previously for Cocaine usage but he did his rehab or required treatment intervention, which allowed him the opportunity to participate as a contestant.

Smokinggun.com has Scott's arrest report and if you review it, I think you'll see his charge (in 1999) was more a heat of the moment kind of thing. I'm not defending his actions but I think he's gotten kind of a bad rap, because of his sullen facial expressions and his general lack of personality.

At any rate, Bo's arrest info, Scott's arrest report, Trenyce's mug shot and arrest information ... all of that information is available to look at on the website smokinggun.com. All things considered, when it comes to finding an AI these days, it's getting harder and harder to find someone who doesn't have something somewhat unsavory in their past.

Vickie 04-29-2005 09:12 AM

Those tempermental artists!

I'm gonna check out that website, nosey rosey that I am.

Katpo 04-29-2005 11:17 AM

I had read all that, and just heard about Bo's arrest last night. As many problems as this country has been having with kids spiraling out of control, someone has to be an example. It's sad that it's so hard to find one.

nibs 04-29-2005 12:27 PM

About Bo's arrest, I don't think it's right what he done but we have to accept it and get on with it. It seems as if people are ok with the fact that the President of the United States smoked drugs, even though he didn't "inhale". I think everyone at sometime in their life, will have skeleton's in their closets. What is the past should stay in the past and go from there. As long as it's not happening now, why dwell on what people have done in past. This goes for any contestant on AI. :)

Katpo 04-29-2005 12:55 PM

Very true! You hit it with the "as long as it isn't happening now" part. And I guess with AI, disclosure is the name of the game. Corey Clark was disqualified for "hiding" his arrest, and evidently the others didn't do that.
