I'm not sure. My info says "whole-wheat pasta or brown rice or potatoes is limited to one meal a day." And then at the bottom, it says "Puffed wheat, puffed rice, shredded wheat, and 100% bran cereals that do not contain added sugar are limited to one meal a day and must be eaten with fat-free milk or fat-free plain yogurt."

So ... I'm taking that to mean, since they're mentioned separately, that you can have cereal in the morning, and then WW pasta or brown rice, or any of the Core grains such as barley, couscous, etc. in the evening. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong though.

Oops, I was writing out my answer when Anne posted. Now we both know (because to tell you the truth, I wasn't 100% sure!)

LOL Cold Core Cereal is in a category by itself (once a day with milk or yogurt). WW pasta, potatoes, brown rice are in a seperate category (one of these a day or you can have more than one but you count the points on the second item). Make sense?

By the way. Hot cereals like oatmeal are NOT limited. Okay.

Thanks so much Ladies!
Dh doesn't really have to diet (I'm one of those short voluptuous chicks married to tall slender guys) but he has to eat better and I want to have info to share with him before we spend money for 2 ww memberships ( he needs to maybe lose 20 and i need someone to be gungho with me!)
I'm sure i'll be back to post more!
