Idea for Core E-tools
I have really had a hard time justifying the expense of E-tools while I am on Core, mostly because the little points pad thing is essentially useless. I do like other aspects of e-tools though.
Recently I tried using the Flex Plan journal and simply entering my points allowance for the day as a line item, then adding anything non-core so that it will subtract from the WPA. It is really working out well and I find the Flex Plan journal a lot more user friendly for both WPA's and AP's. The drawback is that you have to switch plans in order to figure out if a particular food in Core or not. On the plus side is that if you like to write down what you eat (just for the sake of figuring out what combos are working for you) - you can do that by manually entering foods and entering 0 points value.
Just thought I'd share since I know others have expressed disappointment in the features of e-tools for Core.
