Anne -

I'm not BF - anymore that is, but I just wanted to say that we are definitely in the same boat regarding the "pregnancy weight". I have ~30'ish pounds to lose to get back to my pre-pg weight!! I just wanted to say that I know with the FP you get so many more points a day when you are BF - I wonder if you can get more FP with the core since you are breastfeeding??

Heather I'm not sure about that either... maybe Kelly could find out for us. But I know with flex you got 10 more target pts each day if you were breastfeeding... I don't know how that would work out on Core but I'm sure there is a plan for it.
Anne, until you know what to add just increase your portions of Core items each day to cover those hunger feelings, you don't want your milk supply to decrease because you aren't eating enough, so if you feel hungry than eat something on the list or use your 35 Wp's until you know for sure ok??

Ok, after much searching this is what I found so far:
Here is what it says...straight from the book.

Nursing mothers following the Core Plan need to include plenty of wholesome, nutritious foods to ensure a safe weight loss. Use your weight loss as a guide. Increase your servings of Core Foods if losing more than an average of one pound per week AFTER the first three weeks.

Thanks guys! I did ask at the meeting Saturday and the leader kind of brushed me off (a man leader and I guess he was embarrased).

What I have been doing is just going by the Core Food list. But on Saturday and Sunday I was really, really hungry. So I upped my food intake yesterday and today and it seems to have helped.

I will let you know on Saturday how I did this weekend. I just want to make sure I am eating enough to not interfer with my milk supply. But also to lose weight. Its like walking a tightrope. Hey! Would that be AP's? LOL
