Canadian Tips
Hi, just thought I'd start a thread for tips to make core plan easier for Canadians. Not everything listed is readily available in Canada. So if you have any food finds or advice, write it here.
Extra lean ground beef- the % for extra lean in Canada is different than in the US. The US's lean ground beef is 10%, while in Canada it's more like 20%, while extra lean in Canada is 10%, while extra lean is about 5%. I have found an extra-extra lean ground beef at Sobey's (I am guessing they'd also have it at IGA) which is more equivalent to the US's requirement. Hopefully more grocery stores will follow suit.
