Good Morning Ladies

Talked to my next door neighbor and they told me to go to Battles Auto Repairs as they been the the town for 30 years, but when I called them up they said that my car wouldn't be an over nighter. So I called my Toyota dealer, but before that I took the car out and drove it around the complex and not happened. The stirring was fine, but I was concerned it would happen again so I drove the car with my hazard lights on to the Dealer. They told me it might be in the stirring column, and the car would be ready some this this afternoon. They gave me a courtesy ride home and and will have someone pick me up when the car is ready.

SANDRA-Thanks for the Going crazy without my car I was going to pay my cable pill and return the up stairs TV box. Why pay 24 dollar when I don't use the upstairs TV.

JOJO-Keep an eye out for it it was a funny movie the way she struggled to keep the family and that job balanced.

VICKIE-Sorry about your tummy ache I had that 3-4 weeks ago and I'm still not eating much.

EMS- I Love the winter squashes also, I wonder why they put it in the bread category instead of the veggie.

Have to go have a great day

Vickie, you have a lot going on right now. I still don't think you need a job. I love your and Jim's life. Retirement is wonderful, isn't it?

Ems, did you check at oa dot org to see if there's a meeting near you? If not and you're interested, they have online meetings as well as telephone meetings available.

Maryann, I'm glad you're getting your car repaired. Guess you have it back home by now. You did the right thing taking it in before you got stranded somewhere.

If God gave me a brain, he robbed a rabbit

Yesterday himself was painting a wall which has loads of doors in it, its a tiny area you couldn't swing a kitten in between the kitchen and downstairs bathroom. Now you know how I worry about him doing too much and having another coronary... well. When he took the dog for a walk, I shinned up the ladder, as best I could and finished off the painting. Now you all know my knees! They are the reason I am trying to drop weight. Let's be honest here, you could use my knees as a 'You too could have knees like this if you aren't careful' poster It is 2am and my knees are up like balloons and very painful. I've had my tablets and a nice cup of tea and when the tablets work I shall go back to bed.
I've had the lecture from Mark and I know that I will have to rest tomorrow, but at least the wall is finished. If only I had had the sense to put the extender on the roller I wouldn't be so bad. It's the ladder that has been my Waterloo.

JoJo Take care of those knees. We don't want to see you on a poster. Actually, you sound a lot like me. I can see myself putting myself in that sort of situation. Well, not with painting--but with something else that could get me hurt. Be careful, friend.

hey. Sounds like everyone is busy. I lost the 2 lbs I gained while in Vegas. I have my great granddaughter until Sunday. She is a non-stop talker, lol. She is 4 and such a cutie.

I tried to come here yesterday, but the flash thing was happening, and it froze up my computer.

Hope everyone has a great week.

Good Morning Ladies

Car Saga is completed as the Toyota dealer couldn't find anything wrong with the stirring wheel.Maybe it was Leo fooling around or a fluke, but the dealer didn't charge me. It working fine now. Glad that I took it over there to get peace of mind.

Today I have to go to our TV provider and take one of the boxes back to them as I'm not paying for the upstairs TV if I'm not going to use it. After that I'm going to Lunch with Rita.

SANDRA-Thanks, Like I posted above There was nothing wrong with the car,but it least it gave me peace of mind.

JOJO-Sorry about your knee, take care and do the RICE Method[R/rest=I/ice==C/compressed==E/elevate.

PAM-Congrats on your 2 lb loss. You doing great, losing what you gained in Las Vegas

Have to go,have to get dress do some chores before I go out to lunch

Ems,

I made us a healthy bfast then we had a healthy lunch. Doesn't get much better than that. I may do some shooting this afternoon. Maybe not. I may just curl up and watch a movie. I'm subbing 8th Grade English tomorrow. Life is good.

If it wasn't for bad luck, we wouldn't have any luck at all. Found a lump on our labrador last night and it was too late to ring the vet so we are taking her to the walk in at our vet's this morning.
The sensible side of me, the old nurse side, thinks: 'Well, it is probably just a cyst and even if it is a tumour it has a good chance of being benign'
The emotional side of me, isn't so optimistic

Good Morning Chicks! Up before the crack of dawn here. Can't sleep. Too much rolling around in my brain. And, my little brain talks to me ALL the time. If I let it start talking when I get up in the middle of the night for a bathroom break then I wake up completely and can't go back to sleep. Sigh.

The landscaping estimate went ok though it was nearly double what we had budgeted. Isn't that always the way? That's what's on my mind now...how to pay for it AND the bathroom. That will be this morning's project after the window washers leave.

JoJo, I hope your knees feel better today. I'm guessing that you are so upset about your pup that you aren't even thinking about yourself. What is her name so I can think good thoughts for both of you. I will pray it is just one of those squishy things that pop up.....the kind the Vet says leave it alone!

Sandra, you sound happy and like all is going well. That makes me happy for you.

Pam, Congratulations on getting the 2 pounds off. Nicely done! I'm glad you're enjoying your granddaughter. 4 is such a great age!

Mary Ann, I'm glad that your car is back in working order. That would have been scary for me too. Thanks for the reminder to JoJo on RICE. My heel spurs are hurting again and I've been doing the opposite. A little RICE would probably help them too.

I've got to get everything done before the 5th for the bathroom because it needs to be done and because I'm having a procedure done on my toe that will probably slow me down for a least a couple of days to a week. Gotta have the ingrown toenail removed from tip to base and the root killed so it won't grow back. Not sure what the name of the procedure is. I've had to go to the Podiatrist every 8 weeks for about the last 12 years but her in office procedure isn't helping much. Not looking forward to that although she says it's no big deal and that she does them all the time. I'm just a scaredy cat!

So after the windows and the budget I hope for a nap.

And the eating.....I'm trying. That's all I can say.

Good Morning Ladies

Had a great time at the restaurant with Rita as they let us sit from 1 to 4:30 in the afternoon. We talked from Soup to Nuts trying to fix the worlds situation. We talked about the old neighbor in NY also,as she lived in the same town as I,but nearer the city than we were.

JOJO-Sorry about your lab having a lump, hope the vet will see your dog today and every thing will be ok,especially when you caught it on time.

VICKIE-Where ever I can be assistance,I will help the RICE method of taking care of any injured part of the body is the better to get relieve.

Have to go running late have a great day

JoJo, I am praying your pup is all right. Let us know what you find out. I think Vickie's right and you've forgotten all about your knee. Take care of yourself.

Vickie, ouch! Let me know how your toe procedure goes. I battle ingrown toenails, too. Things always cost more than we predict. Our porches were the same.

I'm at lunch break at the junior high. Kids have been testing all day. This is easy. I'm on my food plan. Life is good.

PANIC OVER!

We were sitting on the mat outside the vet's as soon as it opened. They didn't exactly take us in with the milk, but it was close. Dolly has a lipoma, quite benign and often seen in labs. Boy were we relieved. She has had a lot of problems and several ops with ligament damage in her back legs so is well known at the vets and they love her because she is so sweet tempered. She's a very large lab, with a waggy tail and loves everyone. I think we will sleep well this evening as we didn't have much of a relaxed sleep last night.
Thanks to everyone for your concern it means a lot.

I am now in Wilmington at my Speech convention. Parts were dull today and parts very interesting.. I am in my hotel & getting ready to go shop for a GPS because mine is not working ..

Plan to grab a bite to eat & get to bed early.

Tomorrow after I am done at 5 pm I will go back to where my friend is staying at the beach house to help her clean & go home Sunday am. It is a friends beach house so we want to leave it nice & clean.

Sorry I didn't read all the posts but I did see about your pup JoJo. Best wishes..I know how much those pets can mean to us.
