Good Morning Ladies

Got my migraine back again yesterday, but now its gone & so is my doctor until Next Tuesday. My option is to go to the ER if its an emergency.

Its just doesn't end,Where do migraines come from.????I thought the show up during pregnancy & menopause. Guess I was wrong.YESTERDAY I FELL OFF PROGRAM,AND ATE EVERYTHING IN SITE.

COCO-Thanks I love riding it as I watch a movie for 1/2 hr on my computer.and for you asking your leader about the points,I really appreciate all the help.Going back to the 50 cal per point & decided to go on a lower point range than I did before. My new range for next week is 22-31[1100-1500] a more or less calorie shift[Wendie type plan]

RHONDA-Congrats on all the exercising your done yesterday. Glad that you can get to visit us via lap top while your gone.

NANCY-Hi, it good to see you posting again.I'm using core foods but counting calories. You'll get down to the 130's by Spring. I aiming to get out of the 160's by Spring than I'll be happy. Didn't like the Atkins plan as I love grain carbs.

VICKIE-We started to eat that way[dinner at noon] since last Sept and we both found we had less heartburn that way. But of course our weight has come down,as Leo & I eat light in the evening. Maybe we are not eating enough and we're in a starvation made. Have to ask the doctor.

Have to start dinner, having Chicken with fruit salsa and some veggies on the side.

Rhonda, I'm sorry you're not enjoying your trip. I'd go home early, too, if I were you. Colleyville took a big hit in the storm but nothing like Oklahoma. We actually came through it easily. Folks between us and 35 didn't even get rain.

Vickie, we're leaving for Austin in the morning for the TSAA State Indoor Championship at the University of Texas. We travel to tournaments 3 more times over the next 4 weeks. Two of the tournaments have banquets so I was in extreme need of clothes. I understand your not wanting to buy clothes. I wouldn't have if it hadn't been necessary.

Maryann, ouch! I have never had a migraine but I sympathize with you. I fell off the wagon today, too, but I planned it. A gf and I went out to eat and to the movies. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Hi everyone. Its been a few days since I've had a chance to post. Doing well OP but I wasn't able to wi yesterday -- too much going on at work. The one downfall of doing ww at work, sometimes I just can't get away. Oh well. There is always next week. I think I would have been the same or a small loss. I'm just going to keep sticking to plan. I know it works when I am honest in following it.

Rhonda, glad you made it to FL OK.

Vickie, congrats on exercising! Its so easy to skip days. Keep it up!

Maryann, I used to get migranes often. I realized it was mostly due to stress. I still periodically get them when things pile up on me. I always had great luck with ibupropen (motrin). When I feel the headache coming (usually I get the funky vision), if I take 4 pills, the headache never got into full swing. Maybe that would help.

Hi Pam, Nancy and Coco!

OH -- guess what! After 2 months of snow pack on the ground, its finally melted enough that DH and DD took down the Christmas decorations. They even unburried Santa from the front lawn (a blow up one that disappeared a while ago). The great thing -- my snowdrops, crocuses and daffodils are all sprouting! I'm amazed that they are up so fast -- 2 days ago they were still burried.

Well got to run. Have a good night.

Good Morning Chicks! I'm off to the gambling boat this morning for a little R & R. It's our gift to our selves for finishing one month on our respective programs. Jim is down almost 15 and I'm down 9. We'll be going to the free buffet for lunch today. I'm confident that I can eat the salad and fresh fruit and leave the rest of the stuff alone. They always have a nice protein (turkey breast or whole ham) that they will slice to go with my salad and fruit. Some day, I'll be able to splurge there once in a while but not yet!

Hope you all have a great day. I'll walk on the treadmill when I get home. I'll also be making a new batch of veggie soup. We are bracing for 4 or 5 inches of snow from tonight through tomorrow morning. Oh well.....it is February. It was nice that all the old snow melted though!

I'll see you all later.

Good Morning Ladies

Had some problems with the computer this morning,it wouldn't go on for a reason,Now that's it up I have to rush this post as we're going out to the tax man and being Friday the 13th is has to be a frightful situation.

My migraine is gone this morning, but I made a appointment to the doctor for a check up anyway. My DD called, and told me The funnies thing, she had migraines the same time that I did,but we didn't know about each other until her phone call. Her MIL said it might be sinuses as the weather was going up & than down in temp. Leo now that he has the weather station told me its a possibility as the barometer pressure was down causing the headaches.

SANDRA-Thanks for your sympathy. She also mentioned that she fell off the wagon also,by eating everything in sight. So these headache bring on nausea and over eating.Hope that I don't see anything I don't want to see at W-I this Monday. G;lad you had a great time at dinner & movies.

PAULA-I have no reason to stress out Leo is cancer free .I think it has to do with sinus or something like that. My DD had the same headaches like I did.Took Alieve and it helped a little so that the reason I'm going to be check out just in case its some more serious.

VICKIE-Congrats to you & your DH for the great weight loss.Have a wonderful time at buffet dinner. Continue,to do what your doing as it working for you.

Have to go get ready to fo to the tax man.

Vickie, enjoy your reward. Great weight loss!

About migranes: I used to have them also but as soon as I entered peri-menopause, they went away. I know how awful they can be: good luck.

My conference is over and I'm headed to the sunshine by the hotel pool. I forgot to bring sunglasses and sunblock!!! So, first I'll go get some of those.

Tomorrow, I'm going to spend the day with DH's nephew and his family in Cocoa Beach. That should be fun.

I'm doing well with not eating too much. There are great fruit drinks here and they're low calorie, if not Core. I didn't exercise yesterday, but I will today.

Hi Everyone
Just wanted to get on here real quick.
Glad the high winds are over.
We lost our power 7:30 Wednesday night. And got it back on at 11m Thursday night.
My Aunt wont get her power back on until sometime tomorrow or Sunday.
And my Mom's cousin had a tree fall on her house. She is in her 80's and no insurance. So her son in law and 2 grandsons were working on it yesterday. They had to get someone in to remove the tree. And now they will have to repair the roof. Just put up some stuff temparealy. I think I spelled that wrong. Oh well. Not getting the dictionary out.
Well I am going to get off here.
I will be back later.
Got to get caught up on stuff I didnt get to do yesterday.
Thinking of each of you.

Hi All:

Had a great few hours by the pool, in the shade with sunblock on

Coco, that's terrible about the elderly lady. But, it's so sweet that people are helping her.

I'm not going home early. I'd have to try standby or pay an extra $300. I don't want to do either, especially since standby would put me at the airport 8 hours before I have to be there. Oh well, I'll just have to have more pool time

I was on the and the for 20 minutes each and then I did 30 minutes of today. Pretty good.

I probably won't be on the internet tomorrow. So, I'll see you Sunday or Monday.

Happy Valentine's Day.

I'm so far behind in what's happening here, so I won't try to do personals.

I know Rhonda is enjoying the sun in Florida. Wish I was there. We thought about driving down there for a few days, but it's not warm enough to justify the 12 hr drive. Rhonda, $300 is a lot, so stay put.

coco, we had the high winds last week too and lots of downed trees.
Good to hear they got your power back.

Maryann, hope the tax man was nice to you. Congratulations on your big weighloss.

Vickie, did you win? You and your husband are doing awesome. Keep up the good work.

Paula, poor Santa, . Sorry you couldn't wi this week. You will have a nice loss next week.

Sandra, you have a busy schedule. I love shopping. Glad the storms missed you. Have fun at the upcoming tournaments.

sloan, busy girl. Hope you have time to post next week.

We are going to dinner on Sunday. The restaurants are too crowded on Valentine's Day. Cleaning today. It's my SIL's birthday so we'll have cake later. I'll have a small sliver.

Enjoy the day.

ETA: Maryann, hope you feel better soon.

Good Morning Chicks!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!!

Have fun, Rhonda! You know there won't be any pool time once you get home. Great job on the exercise. I bet you'll have a great weigh in this week. Interesting about your migraines. Mine got WAY worse when I hit menopause.

Thanks for the kudos, Sloan! I bet your an awesome teacher.

We had great fun, Coco. I lost but had fun anyway. It was nice to have a non-eating reward. I'm going to have to think up some more of those.

Pam you sound like you have a great plan for today. Good luck, enjoy your sliver of cake and your meal tomorrow.

Mary Ann, I hope your computer woes are over and that the tax man didn't add any woes for you! I worked for THE tax man for 30 years. He can be tough.

Jim and I have no special plans for today. I'm making WW veggie soup later and we may be taking the pup to the Vet. She's got a growth on her back that is growing and I'm a bit concerned. Other than that, we'll just be on program and exercising. I hope you're all well and on program.

DRINK YOUR WATER!!!!!!!

Hi:

I hope you all had a good day. I really enjoyed my time with DH's nephew, his wife and their two girls (6 and 8). We went to a nature preserve and saw alligators, of course!

I've got 7 hours to do something with before my plane leaves. Here I am in a huge hotel attached to a gigantic mall, and I HATE shopping! You'd never know that there is a recession on: the mall is full. I wonder if people are spending money or just wandering around?

I didn't exercise yesterday, but today I am doing some mall walking and not just sitting around. I'm going to do my best to keep up with the because it does help all kinds of things.

Talk to all tomorrow: have a great OP day.

Rhonda
