  • Monday
    Well this week I'm going to do Flex because I'll be at the hospital a lot, and I have a hard time eating out on Core (it's the choices I make I know). I'm going to try to stick to mostly core foods tho.

    So here goes:

    b - egg sandwich [4pts]; banana [2pts]
    s - fruit cup [1pt]
    l - fajita turkey burger patty [4pts]; over a salad w/avocado [2pts]; w/tomatillo salsa for dressing [0pts]; sour cream [1pt]
    s -
    d - 1/2 ny strip steak [6pts]; baked potato [3pts]; sour cream [2pts]; roasted brussle sprouts w/oil [1pt]; wine [6pts]
    s - tortilla chips & salsa [3pts]; wine [2pts]

    AP - bike ride for 1 hr - 4pts

    points total: 33/28 5 WPA used (14/35 for week)

    Note its our anniversary so we'll probably split a bottle of wine with dinner I don't usually have that much.

    edited: I couldn't resist the salsa I'd made so I had some as a snack while watching tv. That's why I don't drink wine w/dinner often anymore.

    Nothing new, Looks like we're going to have cloudy day,Hoping to get down to the beach and get some walking done before the rain come in.

    Had a bad core day last night I went wild,eating everything in sight while watching tv,but I'm back OP this morning. Why does that happen from time to time.

    I don't know if the Core is working for me anymore,I tried going HARD Core by not having that any WPA's as of now I only used 13 this week and my week started on Friday. Any input,other than Vickie thinking I'm not eating enough.Just curious of what other are doing to get the scale numbers down.


    Donna-Thanks for starting us up this week and Happy Anniversary Sorry you have to spend it in the hospital. You menu look good.Sending prayers out your way,that everything comes our fine.

    b-3 sl Bacon[4]FF cheese on 1 WW muffin[2] 1c ff milk

    d-6 oz chicken breast,1tsp pesto sauce[1] 2 os mozz 1/2 c WW pasta 1 c Broccoli

    sn-apple slices on FF Plain Yogurt

    supper-2 froz Meatballs[2]with tomato paste 2 oz mozz in par broiled green pepper boat

    des-1c FF SF pudding

    30 WPAs- 8.5= 22.5 WPA's left

    B: 1 SF/FF yogurt,1/2 cup strawberries w. flax seed, 1Tbsp slivered almonds (1)
    + 1Tbsp sugar re: coffees (1)
    AP: walk = 25 min. moderate +2
    L: 1 cup veg soup, 1/2 multi-grain bagel (3), 1 tsp butter (1), 1 Tbsp lite cream cheese (1)
    walk cancelled due to migraine
    S: small apple
    + microwave popcorn (2)
    margarita w. neighbour cancelled due to migraine
    D: 3 oz roasted chicken +1 oz, 1/2 cup brown rice, 1/2 cup carrots
    Evg: 1 cup fruit salad
    AP: walk = 15 min. moderate +1

    = 9pts - 3 AP = 6pts WPA (WPA 35-6=29)
    + 9 bottles water!

    B: 2 slices bacon (2), 1 egg + 1 Tbsp sugar (coffees) (1)
    S: apple, SF/FF yogurt
    + box of smarties (5)
    L: 2 cups lettuce + green pepper salad, FF italian dressing, 1 svg cheese (3), ww tortilla (1), baked & sprayed w. olive oil (0) + sprinkled w. garlic salt, oregano (then broken into 'croutons')
    S: 2 choc.chip cookies (3), + some cookie dough (2)
    D: chicken w. FF pkg'd gravy mix, 1/2 cup mashed potato w. 1 tsp butter (1), 1+1/2 cups steamed brocolli, SF/FF jelly
    PM @ bonfire: Chapman's No Sugar Added Ice Cream sandwich (4)

    Activity Points:
    AM: 15 min walk mod. =1
    Noon: cancelled
    PM: 45-50 min outdoor games mod.=3

    = 22 pts - 4 AP = 18 pts WPA (WPA 29-18=11)

    OK, small mix-up DH's surgery is Wed our Anniversary was yesterday (Mon). So we had our anniversary/last dinner together for a couple weeks last night. But thanks for the well wishes .

    Tuesday's Menu (again flex pts)
    b - egg sandwich [4pts]; banana [2pts]
    s - fiber one bar [2pts]
    l - tuna salad [5pts]; tomato [0pts]; sf/ff tapioca [2pts]
    s - apple [1pt]
    d - chicken w/leeks and mushrooms [6pts]; brown rice [4pts]; broccoli [0pts]

    AP - walk w/mom @ park 60 min lt/mod pace = 3 pts

    Total - 26/28; leaves me 2 pt + 3 AP for the day (I'm sure I'll use them somewhere).

    L: skim milk & 1/2 cup strawberries smoothie
    S#2: whole raw red pepper YUM!
    S#3: 2 choc.chip cookies (3)
    D: leftover chicken & FF gravy, 1+1/2 cups salad w. FF italian dressing
    + 4oz wine (2)

    Activity Points:
    AM: 45 min. walk (40 mod) = 3 pts
    Noon: cancelled
    PM: 30 min. walk (25 mod) = 2 pts

    = 5 pts - 5 AP = 0 (WPA = 11R)
