New week. For our challenge this week, I desperatly need to get back on track after a bad, bad week last week. So, how about:
Core by the Book Week
Pull out your materials, read the core plan fresh and lets all work the plan as if it were our first week. No sort of core things, no skipping exercise.
I'm taking my week 1 book and food companion with me to the beach today -- time to start fresh!!! My goal today is to find something I have forgotten that will help me. I'll report back later!
OK, two things I picked up reading the week 1 book.
tofu is core. I didn't realize that. I need to look for some recipes.
Second, core cold cereal is any cereal made with whole grains with no added sugar or fat. So, my grapenuts are core -- They are not listed in the food list, but they meet the cold cereal description. I need to check out other cereals as well.
Paula-I agree with you about the cold cereal description, but I looked in the ww book (the small fat one that they sell at meetings that lists zillions of foods), and the only ones with checks beside them to indicate core status were puffed rice, puffed wheat, and fiber one. Let me know what you find out, because I love to eat cereal for breakfast, too.
I've kept my books out and I've been checking things this week. I am actually doing well. I feel I 've been in control and making better choices with my wpas.
I've been core all week. Today, I'm still not feeling well and the only thing I've drank is the alka seltzer flu. Don't know what the calories are for that, but I haven't eaten anything. Just have no appetite.
