Hi All:

Ah, Sandra, I remember that pool very well. Also, that pool of disinfectant that we all had to walk through before being allowed in the pool...like sheep dip

Tracie, welcome back, and you can do it.

Ok, when's Coco due back??

ummm, blackberries... we had fresh Ontario strawberries today.

If I'm up early, I'll start the new thread..but, if I sleep in, feel free to do it.

After meeting with the friend that I mentioned earlier, DH and I went out to dinner. I stayed on core eating grilled chicken breast, steamed broccoli, and brown rice. I'm sure the chicken had some kind of fat on it for grilling, but I haven't had my oil today, so I'm pretending that it's okay.
Rhonda- your description of the sheep dip made me smile. I've never heard of such a thing as making people disinfect before swimming, showering maybe but not disinfecting!
Sandra-how do you make a crisp? I usually make cobbler, and you're right, it probably would be hard to make core.
Tracie-glad you had a great time. Isn't it nice to know that all you have to do is get back to core and you'll be okay! Do you have a recipe for calico beans or can I find it in the recipes? Also, the broccoli coleslaw mix is a great idea. I'll try it for the fourth.
Guess the rest of you chicks have had a busy weekend. Can't wait to hear from you all! TTFN

Sloanie, Not sure where I got this recipe. Thought someone here posted it, but I'm not sure. Anyways, it is as follows

Calico Beans

8 ounces xtra lean ground beef
8 slices cooked Canadian bacon, chopped
1 cup onion
16 ounces canned, great white northern Beans
16 ounces canned Butter Beans
16 ounces canned kidney beans
16 ounces canned pinto beans
8 oz. tomato sauce
1/3 cup catsup
1 tablespoon mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup Splenda
1/4 cup Brown Sugar Twin
2 tablespoons vinegar

Cut bacon into squares.
Brown onion and beef in skillet.
Drain & rinse the beans.
Add rest of ingredients to the onion & beef mixture.
Transfer to baking dish.
Bake 400 for about 60 minutes.
