Diet Coaches/Buddies - Eating was on plan with no daytime snacks, CREDIT moi. Lunch was a tomato sandwich - from a fat red tomato. Just the best. Dinner on the patio was gazpacho. That means that both lunch and dinner came from our garden.
Excitement was a trip to the library to pick up
And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. It'll be my first Agatha Christie - who died some 44 years ago after publishing some sixty-six detective novels and fourteen short story collections. Somewhere in the advice about maintaining sanity during COVID-19 isolation, this was suggested. I've already read half; it's hard to put down. I discovered that I can pick up a book from the library that's ready without an appointment. An appointment means that the librarians have collected the whole order and checked them out and put them in a bag with my name. Without an appointment, the librarian has to use my card to find out what books I've ordered, get them from the 'hold shelf', and then check them out. So all an appointment does is allow the librarian to do their work before arrival. There are two waiting lines. When I got there, there were only a couple of folks in each line; waiting wasn't an issue at all.

Joy (gardenerjoy) - Honeydew melon is a great snack. The site issues continue; now I suspect it'll be after the weekend before an update can be made.
maryann - Waving again. Hope you're well despite all the dire news about California in our papers.
Karen (karenrn) - You're a jewel for planning to fly to Washington State to help your MIL for five days. Sounds like one FAT omlet you're panning.
curlyjax - Congrats for helping your DD despite her assurance that she didn't need it. I, too, really wanted to see that King Tut exhibit. I have no idea about the rescheduling this fall.
