  • Thanks!! I keep lean ground beef in the freezer at all times (buy the 5 lb packs from Costco that are already in 1lb serving 'tubes') I'm getting tired of my Shepherd's Pies that I make with it and the mashed cauliflower and I need to try some new things. Thank you so much again!!

    I'm experimenting with splitting a pack and my meat between lunch and dinner.
  • This is my third time on IP after a 4 year leave from the program. I had amazing results from the first two times on the program. I am 3 days in and getting creative with my veggies and meals already, so I don't get discouraged and bored.

    Last night I found a recipe on the internet for sauerkraut and pork roast slow cooker. I made some quick modifications and made it IP friendly.

    -2 cups of sauerkraut
    -1/8 yellow onion
    -7 oz of pork tenderloin, fat cut away
    -2 tsp of infused Tuscan olive oil (delicious blend of spices)
    -1/2 cup of water
    -salt and pepper to taste
    -crockpot temp low.

    Hopefully this works out. It's cooking at home as we speak.

    S: IP cookie dough swirl bar or IP chocolate soy puffs (undecided as yet)

    Phase 1, Alternatives

    B - HS golden pancake mix with cauliflower added, WF pancake syrup (it is the only WF product I have tried that tastes decent to me)
    L - PD chili with bell peppers and mushrooms added
    S - RTD blended with kale and matcha green tea powder
    D - Flounder, big green salad, sliced cucumbers

    B - Vanilla RTD with coffee
    L - sloppy joe mix on zucchini noodles with tomatoes
    D - 8 oz scallops with 2 c. cauli-rice
    S - PT Salt & Vinegar Soy Snacks
    S - Quest bar ... whoops somehow had 2 snacks yesterday!)
