    ShainasB818 - When you are doing everything right and the scale is not behaving you have to remind yourself that sometimes it takes a while for the scale to catch up. You also need to take into account water weight, sometimes we hold onto more water than others. Just keep going forward doing what you need to do and the scale will catch up eventually.
  • Shaina, I feel your pain. My official weigh-in day is Friday, but I weigh every day to help keep me accountable. I've been on plan too, but have had a gain as well. However, I'm also doing the June exercise challenge and I've really ramped up my exercise particularly in regards to weight training. In addition, I'm in the middle of TOM and I always retain water with it. My guess is that I am struggling with water retention as everything else has been clean and on track. Also, when my stress levels rise (as they are right now), I tend to hold on to weight.

    Are you dealing with out-of-the-ordinary life "stuff" that could be preventing a loss? In the end, as the cliche goes, it is a marathon and not a sprint. I need to learn to be more patient with myself, ride it out, and see fluctuations as a natural part of this process even though I don't like to see the increases.

    I am glad I didn't gain all of it back, but I knew I'd gain some. Had a busy/bad week for dieting. It was my boyfriends birthday the same day we were celebrating buying our first home !! and also, two of my cousins birthdays andd one of those cousins also graduated.. so lots of partying and eating bad this past week, all look forward from this week on.. also this weekend going away, hopefully i can make some good choices, too.
  • AHH!! This week kicked my behind!! We were insanely busy with end of the year stuff.
    The only thing I could do was hold on for dear life and not completely go off the wagon. I guess you could say I went into temporary maintenance mode.
    Which worked thank goodness because I am the same weight as I was last week and I feared I might have gained a couple. First week since I started in Feb that I haven't had a loss. I guess it was bound to happen at some point, but honestly I am ok with it and relieved that I didn't go ridiculously crazy and survived it.
    Ready for a killer week this week. No cycle stuff to get in the way and plenty of time for my workouts again!

  • I'm a little late in posting this again.. lol I'm a bit surprised at my weight.. It's almost TOM time.. (A few days away and yet im still down) not complaining. The gain will probably come soon.

    This week was very good for me, but that's because I tried Atkins. I found, even though I lost a good bit of weight, it's not for me. It's not something I can stick to as a way of eating because I do not eat enough vegetables. I know it's bad not to eat veggies, but I just can't stand most of them. Also, even though I went into ketosis on the 2nd day, I had NO energy whatsoever and couldn't exercise. It did decease my appetite though.

    Anyways, I'm going back to calorie counting and exercising 5 days a week. So I'm expecting much slower weight loss from here on out.
  • I have been MIA in the last week. Couldn't weigh as I was on the road but I will be on it this Saturday. I have been holding strong with my diet. Exercise is sporadic but it's coming.

    Dare- Calorie counting is tried and true so don't worry about it.
