This is awesome because I literally have to take things day a day at a time!! My goal this month is to remain committed... not go over my calorie intake, track my food daily, and exercise 5-6 days of the week. Right now, for me, any change is positive.

  • I'm ready to start losing weight again. My Goal Weight for February is 232.

  • Hey everyone! I had to chant over and over to myself this morning 'weight loss is not linear, weight loss is not linear' I had a 1.4 gain out of nowhere. So, I am recording a 7lb loss for January instead of 8+, but that's okay, I'll save the extra pound for February, it's shorter, I'm sure I'll be glad to have it at the end of the month.

Diana -- Congrats on your .2 Hope you found your energy

Carter -- I'm so happy for you about the 159! I'd have to bask in that for quite a while to get used to it. Maybe your body needed a little rest. Good job on your overall January loss!

QT -- If you have to eat at McD's I loooove their southwest salad with grilled chicken...good and satisfying in a pinch. What a great January for you...almost 12 lbs!!

Kris -- Aww...sorry it wasn't a 10lb loss, but at least not paying attention to food didn't land you with a big gain.

    Kukkie

Ona -- Congratulations on holding on to your loss for January! Maybe a few rest days will help your body get ready for your next whoosh. Here's to a great February!

Amanda -- Way to go on your 4lbs!

RRB2 -- Congrats on your 2lbs for January!

Steph -- Congratulations on a great January!

Heidi -- OMG -- way to go! You are quiet, but sooo serious! 21 pounds is amazing. holy cow!

Angie Seven pounds is awesome! Please don't short change yourself! You have been struggling, and to have that kind of loss is fantastic!
  • Thanks Diana

  • Good Morning, Everyone! Let's make this a great month!

    Weigh In: 146.2 (TTOM)

    AKA Thank you!
  • Hey folks

Welcome to February - to threadies new and returning, let's stay on plan every day and make this a great month.

I weighed in at 159 today, holding at my new low. I keep just wanting to stare at the number - 159. I really can't believe it.

My goal for the month is to stay on plan every single day until I leave for India on the 15th.

Good luck and good strength today, all.
  • Good morning, everyone. It's a balmy spring day here in upstate NY - so warm that I had to keep turning down the heat in my car!

I'm starting February at 156.4, much to my amazement. January seemed to be a slow month but turned out nicely.

My next mini-goal is to be at 150 by March 15th (a HUGE deadline here at work). I think it's doable but, if not, I'll get there eventually (trying desperately to stay in the now!).

I look forward to spending another great month with you ladies.
  • well that was a wake up call slap in the face. 186.4 this morning.
I feel uncomfortable in my own body, i can see jiggles and things i refused to notice before.
Really, im shocked and I shouldn't be.
The good news, it's a freaking huge wake up call and the check i needed to get back on track . . . . . oye.
Im dissapointed in myself, it happens, i know that, but dang i'm disapointed.

I can stay disapointed or I can do what I know works, i'd rather do what i know works and be happy in my skin.

Bob . . . . im renewing our affair, I picked up the "beginners weight loss" dvd, the reviews i've read say beginner my a$$ but I think it's going to serve me well. I know I can keep up . . . just need the reminder.

Anyway, off to work I go and then to start reading and make an effort to be a part of this community that has helped me so much in the past, I really did miss you guys
  • Jan 31- 167.4
    Feb 1- 166.0 (down 1.4)
  • On my way out the door to head to the nursing home this morning and then to work . . . hopefully will have some time during the day check in. Have a great day.

    January 31st weight -- 244.2

    1- 243.8
  • Carter I was busy yesterday and forgot to give you a big over the 159! Great job!
