  • Sometimes if i'm craving sweets I'll have a healthy packet of oatmeal (apple cinnamon or maple brown sugar). It really helps me plus it is great fuel for your body!
  • I did end up having one, it wasnt as good as i thought it would be. It was one of those trail mix ones from timmies , meh ill make my own and make them healthy! my mom made this great lemon poppyseed bread but she used qinuoa flour and sugar cane, and it was sooo good. ill try and get the recipe and post it!
  • As a recovering binge eater, I say, eat the cookie. Buy the one that you want (under no circumstances should you make a batch!), sit down, and fully enjoy it. You can account for the calories today, or take them out of tomorrow's allotment. Depriving yourself of a reasonable amount of indulgence is begging for a big fat binge, at least for me it would be!

PS: The Alternative Baking Company (ABC cookies I think) makes amazing vegan cookies. They're about 480 calories for a big giant one, but they don't have preservatives and they really fill you up. I indulge in one about every week, and have it as a meal with a big cup of iced coffee. You can usually find them at health food stores or if you live in a coastal city, any artsy coffee shop.
