  • Hey everyone! It is exactly 4 months until July 4th. I thought it would make a fun challenge.

    I personally want to get to Onderland by then. I weighed in this morning at 233.0 so I'll give myself a goal of 35 lbs by July 4th to give myself that extra buffer pound.

  • Perfect timing!!! I'm needing to get back on track after this week... I'd love to be at least down to 195 (well, at least 199). Hoping to be closer to 190. How's that for a precise goal!!?!

  • 195 and 190 both sound like great goals! I say lean for the higher one, if you surpass it you can always lower it
  • I'm only weighing twice a month but I'll join in. I'm hoping to be down 25lbs by the first week of June or so. We're going on vacation in Florida then. So I guess I can say I hope to be down around 30 by July 4th.

  • I'd like to be in the mid-170s by the Fourth of July. Not sure if my body will let me do it but I think that would be a nice goal so I'm in.

    UPDATE: going to switch goal to low-170s because I've almost met my original goal.

    SMSDREAMER2007, Given you are starting at a high weight, its completely possible to lose 10ish pounds a month, just be warned you could be doing everything right and your body may not cooperate as much as you want, its different for everyone. Ill keep my fingers crossed for you!

    niafabo- that also sounds completely doable, lets hope your body cooperates!

  • yeah i figure it's reasonable my weight has just been stalling a bit since i broke the 200s. i'm the smallest i've been since I hit puberty right now so it's all a little unreal. it's the first time i've ever watched my eating habits and attempted to lose weight so i'm pretty happy with my weight loss so far. if i make it then i should be able to get to goal in august!

    i hope everyone makes it to goal. let's kick those pounds to the curb!

    Normally I would agree but I counted the weeks instead of the mos..a lot of the mos have 5 weeks so it is possible iwht only losing 2 lbs a week. Plus if I dont get it thats fine. I usually go high so I work that much harder, then I don't beat myself up over it if I dont make it as long as I make it about half way..im good XD and thank you for keeping your fingers crossed! I need all the help I can get!!!

I'm doing the biggest loser challenge simultaneously so I'm going to move my WI days for this to Sunday, so I can kill two birds with one stone I am approaching the smallest I can remember being in years (just slipped below my wedding weight by 3lbs!) so I am going to be fairly conservative in my goal, since I expect my body to freak out any day now

  • My weight this morning was 250.0, and my dream goal for my birthday at the end of July is onederland, so I'll set my July 4 goal at 210 lbs*. No idea whether I can achieve that or not, but I can certainly try my best! My body has really been responding well to calorie counting and exercise thus far, and so hopefully that will continue. My official weigh-ins are on Wed, so I will post updated weights once per week.
