  • Jelbb - you should totally do it...it's awesome, especially if you're not a runner...it'll make you one!
  • Skinny, I'm so down for that! I'm going to start tomarrow. hehehe.
What type of puppy do you have?

loveLauren, haha that's funny. I'm sure that had nothing to do with it though.
  • 158.2 to 157.8... getting a LITTLE closer. If I can keep up little loses through the week, it will give me more motivation to not do badly on the weekend. I don 't want to start in the hole again!
  • SnowWolf - i have a brand new 8 week yellow lab, so she's lots of fun, but not quite ready for the long runs yet!

ahope - those little losses all add up! and i hear you on the weekend thing...they always suck eating wise for me too!
  • Down to 150.7 today. I am sooooooo excited. I'm hoping to be in the 140s by Saturday, which is when I move to a new town.

I have off from work this week, and I find it much much easier to control my eating when I don't have coworkers shoving food in my face all day. It also means I get to jog in the mid-morning, which is my favorite time to work out.

    YAY!
  • Ruby - yay!!! you're SO close!
  • skinnywish, awwww. So cute, I love dogs.

    RubyGuggenheim, awesome! Keep going!
  • Nice job, Ruby, I'm jealous!

Thanks, Jelbb! I did look pretty good in my new outfit And it's so nice to put on something pretty with the TOM bloat, haha. I got compliments from coworkers, too! It is hard to find a pencil skirt that doesn't gap in the waist & feel too tight in the hips. This one is from The Limited.

Skinny - Puppies are so cute and so much work! Good luck with the training.
  • Skinny:
I did the first leg of the C25K today. It felt really weird for me. I'm so used to running the track at a consistent pace until I want to die... that stopping and walking for a minute and a half for every minute that I ran was weird. But it did keep me going for the full 20 minutes with minimal pain, and no cramps.
There was a guy training for football on the pitch tho, and he kept looking at me, and I felt all self-conscious like, "This guy thinks I can't run a full lap of this track without a minute and a half of breathing time.........."

    Hope:
Pshaw, half a pound is a good loss in any weigh-in, congrats to you!!!! Keep at 'er, honey!

    Ruby:
Congrats! Keep up the losses, you're SO close to joining Elise and I in the 140s!!!!

    Aurora:
Oooh! I want pics of this pretty new outfit!
And I agree, sometimes when you're rocking that TOM bloat, nothing feels better than donning something DAMN cute!!!
  • Jelbb - i hear ya, totally wanted to go longer or skip weeks of the program, but it seriously works...trust me!

Aurora - i agree! we need picks of the skirt! i also have a small waist and big hips, and can't imagine a pencil skirt that fits properly...where do you get it?
  • Skinny:
I trust, I have faith. I'll stick to it and see how it goes.
  • oooh, new pic! very nice!
  • Hi Ladies!

So I am posting here presuming that tomorrow morning I am lucky enough to see a 1-5-something on the scale. I confess, I have been too comfortable lately and have been yo-yoing between 160-165 for the past 3 ish months. I hate to make excuses, so consider it more of a string of events I attribute the non-loss to. I graduated college, which meant too many celebrations, then I moved, then I had friends visit, then I went camping for the 4th of July yada yada yada.

ANYWAY, I recognize and accept those as my excuses, but plain and simple I want to get back to the grind. I want to get down to my goal weight (150) which means a break in this annoying cycle. I haven't weighed myself in a week or two, but seriously, here is to hoping I'll be posting with you girls here in the 150s for awhile instead of starting in the next decade up.

Visiting/reading 3fc certainly helps me keep semi-focused throughout my day, but I am hoping actually posting forces me to become that much more accountable.

Anywho, I'm off to bed to avoid thinking of ordering chinese food any longer. Hope to be back posting with ya'll tomorrow! I'll let you guys know how the weigh-in goes.
  • blanna - welcome! posting here definitely keeps me more accountable! good luck with your weigh-in, can't wait to hear how it goes!

Me - down to 153 even today, so down 0.8 since Tuesday! not sure what's up with the fast losses, but i'll take it! AND i've worn a shirt everyday this week that didn't fit me 4 months ago, so it's like i have a whole new wardrobe. woot!
  • Skinny: Way to go on the loss this week and hooray for a new wardrode. LOVE THAT!

As for me I weighed in at 157.4 this morning. Unfortunately, that number isn't entirely a true weight seeing as I didn't weigh myself until 11 a.m. with absolutely nothing in my stomach. My usual 8 a.m. weigh in time I know will be a little higher. Either way, I know it won't change ~3 lbs so I am going to officially say that I AM in my 150's. Yayy! I'm not going to change the ticker until tomorrow just to be safe.

I seriously am still craving chinese food- and bad. I'm thinking I'm going to have to work it into my calorie plan today. I'll keep you all posted. Have a great day everyone!
