  • Happy Tuesday Ladies!
    My day has been great (so far) its only 2pm. LOL... I wasnt going to weigh myself till friday but I just couldent help it the scale was calling my name super early this morning! I lost 1.5.lbs!!!I am so a numbers person. Did a 2 mile walk afterwards with a neighbor.

    So here's my stats now.

    Starting weight (Dec. 08) 192
    Goal Weight 130
    Current Weight 170.5
    Memorial Day Mini Goal 162

    I am off to do a few laps on the treadmill! Just wanted to share my success!

  • I did my warm up and circuits one and two of Jillian Michaels Banish Fat Boost Metabolism. That is a killer cardio dvd. It really gets your heartrate up and makes you sweat. Man I thought I was gonna die. lol!! I have No More Trouble Zones circuits 3,4, and 5 tomorrow. Hope everybody is doin good.

    So far so good for me. Day 2 of being OP!I think I may be back! I got 2 good calorie days and 2 days of working out. I have muscles in my booty I didn't know exsist! I could barely walk today! LOL!

    mjluva, I like Jillian Michaels but have never done her DVD, just the Wii excersize game. How do you like her DVD(s)? This maybe something I need to look into to keep my excersize routine exciting and different. Dont you love when you find muscles you didnt know were even there! Great Job!

  • Haney-There great I'm gonna be using them for the next 2-3 months. I also have 30 Day Shred. They all work really well. When I workout with them I really feel it working. You should try them out. They have them on demand on exercise tv for free.

I haven't weighed yet because I am scared iof getting discouraged when I am doing so good, plus TOM is gonna be here any day now, so I am steering clear of that scale! LOL! BUT, I have 4 days of being 100% OP! I've stayed within calories and have exercised every day this week so far! YAY ME!!!!

    Hey everyone! Just stopping in to say "HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!". Keep up the great work everyone! Diva great job on your 5 days of success! I dont know what OP means, I will have to look that one up in the 2FC dictonary.

    My weekend plans: I am taking my kids to AZ for the weekend to suprise my husband, their dad, we havent seen each other in like 3 weeks, he lives in Utah already, and is traveling for his job. He has no clue we are comming! My mother will keep my 4 kids for saturday night so we can have alone time! We never get alone time, not with 4 kids!!! I am so excited! I also made some "weight loss" preperation for me! Packed a little cooler with healthy snacks for me, so I dont binge while eating out.

    I havent weighed in today, so I will do that Tuesday. I doubt my weight has changed much, since I had already lost a little and weighed in this past Tuesday.

  • Well 2day is a dble wrkout day 4 me. I have both Jillian dvds 2 do. Circuits 6,7 and warm up from both dvds which totals out 2 about 30 mins. It should be a good day. Hope everyone is doin great. Have a fantastic wkend every1.

    How's everyone doing today? It is so gorgeous here outside. After several days of constant rain and thunderstorm we finally get beautiful few days. I'm sorry I've been MIA but I've been definitely staying OP and working my butt off. I've been following Jillian's circuit training workout from her website and it's a killer workout. It's been only 1 week but I hope I see changes after a month. Before this I just did my treadmill run. I'll keep you guys posted on it.

    Yesterday, I was at my doctors and I came across a mag (Good Housekeeping? ) which had some Biggest Loser information in there. They had interviewed Ron, Helen, Tara and Kristen listing their challenges at home, things they have to overcome and struggles at the show etc. with some behind the scene tidbit about the BL show. Here's what I read:

    - Trainers have set for women 1200 calories/day with 1 high calorie day in the week 1800-2000 calories/day. For men, high calorie day is 2500-3000 calories. So they don't feel deprived.

    - Initially in the season, Ron and Helen prepped all the food and the younger folks cleaned up. According to the mag, they all have to do their own stuff, meaning, it's like living at home. Do your own laundry, food, stuff etc.

    - The big scale at the weigh in day is just a prop and not an actual scale but their reactions are real. The contestants are weighed in 1 day before but the weight it not revealed to them. So they find out at the weigh in.

    - Regardless of competing against each other on screen they help each other out off screen. Like for example, Helen hurt her shin, Filipe helped her ice it.

    - Everything in their fridge on the show is stuff they are supposed to eat. One of their fridge/freezer is loaded with fruits, veggies and lean meats. Helen mentioned that some of the stuff (I think she meant veggies) she didn't recognize or had never heard of so she learned good stuff on the show.

    - They all love the sugar free gum. They all get to run errands and buy more of that. I think mag mentioned they all go together to run errands etc.

    I think that's about it. I wish they had more stuff.

    Having read all that I think eating 1200/day with all that workout is very less IMO. But then again they are being monitored and they have to lose all the weight in a certain time frame which is not that long so I guess that's why they are doing it. And it goes against what they've been harping on the show that you have to eat enough to burn and lose (provided you're doing the required workout). So who knows? I thought I'd share this info and see what you thought

  • I gained 0.6 lbs. I seriously better be gaining muscle cuz this is ridiculous up and down every wk. Its really aggravating. This wk is gonna be a OP wk. I will have a small cheat either 2morrow or Tues cuz its my friends b-day 2morrow. Wed I'm gettin my navel pierced so I hope it motivates me to lose more weight. Hope everybody else is doing good.
