Hi everyone!
Judy - Congrats on the loss! That is great. Those cookies sound awesome.

It is hard to bake something and not taste it, but I am finding that is what is cool about this way of life. At least you can taste something (or treat yourself) and not have to say things like you cheated or "oh my god, I ate carbs!", etc. This is the most sensible program to me. I love it. If you have a few ups and downs, such is life. Just keep plugging along

The more I think about my MIL's way of thinking of weight loss, the more it actually does make sense. A little at a time, right? I hope your day was a lot better for you today!
Karen - Hi there! Don't work too hard!
Donna - Welcome! Nice to have you with us! I am new here as well - just started the program about 3 weeks ago and have lost around 6 pounds so far. I'm looking forward to seeing you post more often
Well, yesterday for me was not too good either. My oldest son was pretty sick and my youngest woke up crying around 4AM. I had finally fallen asleep myself around 2:30 (I get up at 5AM for work...LOL). He was running over a 103 degree fever. I gave him some medicine and checked my oldest to see how his fever was. After touching him, I knew it was pretty high. He had a 104.7 degree fever!! I immediately thought meningitis because he said his head and neck hurt, his legs were hurting, etc. I gave him some medicine, put him in the bath and prayed the fever came down. It did, to about 100 in about 15 minutes, so I was relieved. I called my husband at work and was freaking out - none of my kids have ever had a fever that high before!!
We took them both to the doctor this morning and my oldest just has a mean virus that needs to run its course. He doesn't have a sore throat or ear infection, so just plenty of fluids and tylenol and he should be OK. He was feeling a little better this evening...phew! My youngest has a bad ear infection and was given an antibiotic. I sure hope they get well soon - I hate it when they are sick, no matter what their age. This weekend I all ready know I will be spending my time disinfecting my house with Lysol...LOL
I ended up going into work for a meeting and leaving afterwards to come home and take care of them. There was no way I would have lasted all day after only 1.5 hours of sleep last night.
I still have not begun to exercise....I'm so scared to do so. I really do not want to deal with any more pain that I all ready have to. My appointment is still set for late in March to see what my next treatment will be... I sure wish it would hurry up though - I'm so tired of this crap. I guess the best thing to do is just hop on the treadmill and see how I fare. If you don't hear from me for a few days...send the rescue squad! LOL
Have a great day everyone....today was so beautiful outside and I just saw the forecast on the news for the next 5 days...nothing but nasty rain! Yuck!
