shut is the best thing ... I love her to death and would never ever want to hurt her feelings ... I put myself in her shoes and I know I would not be happy ... and I'm sure she knows her pants are too tight she had a difficult time putting her shoes on when she left...
... I let that sit and absorb the milk while I make a 4 oz eggwhite omelette ... I usually eat the same when I come back a few hours later ... I seem to need carbs and protein before and after my workouts... I usually work out in the morning so I take it easy on the carbs for the rest of the day after these 2 meals...
Oh, wait, I have an aged luna bar in my desk drawer. That should help.
I had a partner for a change
It's really hard to find a lifting partner when you don't have a regular workout time, so it's a real treat for me when I can find a friend a the gym who is not a client.
But even if you don't intend to train, the knowledge is very useful for training yourself.
It has significant protein for the calories/size. I'm not crazy about any of those bars however, and tend mostly to keep them at work for emergencies or take on a plane given what they feed you - or rather mostly don't feed you - anymore. The upside of that is that I'll never binge on them.
