Help!

  • Hello...!
    Well it's been about 3 years now and I have put on on 1 and 1/2 stones. And am finding it really difficult to keep it off. I don't eat too much, I hate choclate, so you won't see me eating much of that. So what is it that is keeping the weight on. btw also need to point out that I am a vegitarian, so my diet, is mostly vegetables. Since I have started this job 2 months ago I have gone off lunch and don't eat it. Yes, I know it is bad. Since yesterday, I started excersing again, and will try and go through 1 hour on my cycle bike everyday. Hope I keep to it this time. And hope you people are here to support me through it Because I don't think this is working...

    Are you eating enough???

    I eat 6 times a day and losing weight, if you cut back too much your body thinks you are starving it and will put a good grip on to every pound it has.

    I eat 3 small meals and 3 low cal snacks, fish once a week,lots of whole grains and beans, fruits and veggies,occasionally a piece of chicken or lowcal chicken salad.

    No sugar, white flour or white rice.
  • Have you tried journalling what you eat? A great place to start is www.fitday.com. You could be eating too few calories or it might surprise you that you are eating too many. I would give that a try and then tweak the amount of calories you take in to find something that works.
