Almost half way there!!!!

  • I probably don't even have the right to post here yet considering that I am only almost half way to my target weight...and I have to admit that I could be doing better on my weekends. But....


    I need this in order to make myself believe that I can do and look what I have done so far?? These are my small sucesses so far...(and some don't include the diet)

    1. I have lost 22 pounds.
    2. I have exercised more than I have every in my life and I enjoy it.
    3. I have went down 2 sizes in my clothing and love the feeling when my clothes don't fit)
    4. I have gained the confidence to tell my boss how lucky he is to have me there. (he agreed)
    5. I have met some amazing people through their stories and I wouldn't have had I not started this journey.

    Those are just a few that I am proud of and I want to hold on to so that I may continue towards my weight goal and not give up just to be back to 187 in a few weeks because I have not gotten to the maintence stage yet. This was really just therapy for me to bump up the motivation that I feel has slipped the past week. It realy helped....thanks

    You certainly DO have the right to post here... 22 pounds gone is a big success! And the increase in your self-confidence is also a victory!

    You're a motivator to me too. After my breakfast here, I am getting to the gym! I have not been since March 1 Ack! But my butt isn't going to get any tinier sitting in my desk chair

    Keep us all updated on your progress! I'd love to see how you are doing.

    We weigh about the same right now and have the same goals too!!!

    You must have exercised a lot though...I don't...I get bored sometimes...So I only do some walking about 2-3 times a week...
    I must be a bit more motivated to do so...

    I 'm gonna weigh myself tomorrow and I'm a bit scared!

    Well, since we're somehow pacing at the same course I'll get in contact with your thread to watch your progress!

    Thank you, I am supposed to exercise about five times a week...but I usually only end up doing about three. For exercise I also walk. I brought the WATP's dvd's and have been doing that. I started at 1 mile and than 2, than 3 and today for the first time I did the 4 mile. It was great!!

    I would love to follow you through your journey as well!!!! We could help each other stay on track. I am doing low carb, good fat and tons of water. What is your program?

    Good morning Dale!
    I am glad that I can keep up with somebody who weighs about the same as me...

    I don't have a special diet..I just count calories..about 1100 or 1200 a day...
    I try to cut down on carbs and also walk sometimes about a mile..not more..I'm just not used to it..
    To be exact when I talk about walking I mean air-walking on my air-walker
    I hope the weather becomes warm soon ..then I'll start going to the sea to swim...

    I also drink a lot of water!
    I weighed-in today ! So I want to share with you my little success! I've lost 2 pounds! So my current weight is 158,4lbs.
    That's good for a start...

    How is your diet going??
    I'm trying to keep it despite the stressing and the changes of travelling...
    this can be hard work for a chocolate victim!!
    But I managed to keep my mouth and escaped all these fats and calories..

    Now , I'm back to normal..
    hope that Sunday morning I will see some more results...

    I have written my goals too so as to have a complete picture of our little success.
    Sunday morning(weigh-in) is on the way so we have to be really careful. I’m afraid of not losing much because I haven’t done much exercising….I feel sooooo weak…..can’t decide to get up and do some jogging….
