The book was not 100% clear on this....

  • Can you have as much lean meat and the veggies on the list as you'd like in phase one? Do you have to limit the salads? Just a little confused there. I've read it about three times! I just feel like I am not doing myself much good if I eat two checken breasts and a huge salad!

  • On Phase I, eat until you are satisfied. Two chicken breasts and a salad sounds good to me!
  • I agree with Ruth (plus anyone who did Wegith watchers knows that green veggies are freebies - so endulge, just be careful with the dressing).

    I would however say that if you were having steak and veggies and were still hungry I don't know that I would throw on another steak - but that's my 2 cents.
  • I agree with Pebbles. Generally eat until you are satisfied with the legal foods on phase one, but just also have a bit of caution about overeating on higher fat foods (like steak or mayo - the latter (well actually the combo) being a particular weakness of mine).
