Goals for the week 3/24

  • Hi everyone,

    I am starting this thread again because I really need to get back to the basics again. Obviously I am not doing something right because I worked so hard last week and gained 2 1/4 lbs. So I am getting back on track again today and I am setting a goal for myself for the rest of the week.

    I am not going to have any junk food at all for the rest of the week. No cookies, candy, chips or anything that would be unhealthy for me to eat.

    Is anyone going to join me?

  • I'm going to join you on that same goal Sherri - starting today - no junk food and lots of fluids. I weigh in on tuesday so it might not show but I will stick to it for this week.
  • I am going back to my goal of no night eating.That is a hard one for me to break.My husband even watches the clock and reminds me to not eat.

    Well guys I think I am gonna journal my food this week and my goal is to stay away from anything but fruit after 7, and even then I am only gonna eat a little.... Good Luck Everyone... I just know we can do it!!!!

    No cereal, chips, candy for night snack. Only low cal. or things from my food list. start this today.

    Well I did terrible yesterday. I didn't have any junk type foods but I went way over in my points though. So technically I did stay within my goal.

    Today is much better. I am right on track to the tee today. I am under my points so far and I am going to have an orange tonight instead of popcorn for a snack.

    Talk to you tomorrow to see how everyone else is doing.

    How is everyone doing with their goals this week?

    I am doing great. I made it through another day and only ate healthy foods and I stayed within my points. Another day closer to my goal.

  • Ok Confession Time
    Well guys testerday I didnt stick with the fruit at night BUT stayed well within my calorie range... After I got off work yesterday I has a sandwich instead of fruit but had 400 calories left and it was only 250 so I am ok, I will try harder to stick to the nothing but fruit at night for the rest of the week Like I said in the thread....
    Today is a brand new day and I am taking direct advantage of it

    That is okay you are doing great. As long as you didn't go over your calories for the day. Keep up the great work.

    I am doing great still to. I had 2 oranges tonight for a snack instead of popcorn. We will see what the scales say this week. I am not expecting a loss seeing that I ate so much for 3 days straight.LOL But next week I do expect a great loss.

    You and I both ate for those 3 days LOL, but I know we will show a loss.... even if it is next week I goofed yesterday and did get out of calorie range but I am back on track today, We ate at the mother in laws and she ususally cooks very healthy food but not yesterday LOL, thats my luck, I am gonna write down my menu on the thread today and do better..... Good Luck at weigh in!!!
    Eleni- GREAT JOB on that walking girl I am glad your hand is getting better, it must feel good to be able to take a shower and not worry about getting it too wet.....

    Today is a new day filled with Lots of possibiltys..... Enjoy knowing that yesterday is gone and anything is possible if you want it bad enough

    You are right as long as you got right back on track today that is the important thing. We just have to keep starting over again and again as many times as it takes because this is a lifelong journey. I know you are at kops status but it is still a journey for you to maintain. And you will have to start over many times in the future to keep your kops status as well as I to get there eventually. But I am going to graduate next year and get my kops status this year. That is my goal.

    I have been doing absolutely great. I have had no junk food and I have stuck to my plan like glue but my pants are still tight around the waist and my scale has not gone down at all. I will lose 1 lb automatically when I don't wear my sweatshirt.LOL so I don't really consider that a loss. But I will take it of course. Tomorrow night will tell for sure. I have exercised twice so far this week and I will exercise again tomorrow for my 3 days.

    No junk again today. Yeah for me. I was going to get some ice cream tonight and then passed.

  • Hey Everyone! Ok I am back. I am so proud of everyone! Great work on having a goal for yourselves this week. I have not posted one because I never complete my goal for the entire week. i always cheat....lol And then get depressed if I don't complete it. I guess I need to keep trying until I complete the whole week. ok, count me in for next week. I have just convinced myself.lol LOL It starts tomorrow GOOD LUCK! Penny
