  • I've been thinking about this thread for 3 weeks now and trying to decide what I could do that would be challenging for me. TBH, just getting off my laptop on my nights off is a struggle, even though I love to exercise. Since I set a goal of losing 6lbs this month, I MUST start moving more and eating more of the things I should and LESS of the things I shouldn't.

    Week 1: 4 days of 10K steps, 1 night of Zumba, 1 night of lifting
    Week 2: 4 days of 10K steps, 1 nights of Zumba, 2 nights of lifting
    Week 3: 4 days of 10K steps, 2 nights of Zumba, 2 nights of lifting
    Week 4: 4 days of 10K steps, 2 nights of Zumba, 2 nights of lifting

    This seems like a little, but it is a start. It is difficult for me to walk/run 10K steps consistently.
  • I need to work on consistency and routine - as in I need to get it into my head that *I am person who is physically active* and that this is normal for me.

    I am going to be really modest and just aim for a minimum of 10minutes everyday of walking/dancing/bouncing on my mini trampoline.
    Once a week I will go swimming.

    gardenerjoy I will have met my goal if I post 10 min of activity every day in February.
  • I have been inconsistent with my exercise so my goal is to complete some form of exercise for 27 days this months (minimum of 20 min)
  • My goal is to be consistent with 3 days of strength workouts per week and get my steps per week up to 40,000 instead of 30,000.
  • Written on the Valentine's day card goal: 8 miles
    Card with the flowers goal: 10 miles
    Gift to myself goal: swim 4X/wk....those are the best gifts anyway!

  • met my goal last month.I am tempted to up it, but I think I'll leave it and see how things go

    2 x a week cardio (8 for the month)
    2 x a week Strength (8 for the month)
    2 x a week pilates or stretching
    3 walking across time (12 times for the month)

    2/2 - 1 strength/1 cardio cathe extra, 1 stretch (fitnessglo)

    2/8 I cardio/1 strength

  • I HAVE to make strength training more of a priority. So my goal for this month is simple: in addition to my running, I have to do ST at least once a week, even on race weeks. A 2nd time would be a bonus.
  • I like to join the February Exercise Challenge. My goal is to lose 10lbs in February, getting back to the gym and working out 4-5 times a week.
  • Feb goals:
    1. 1000 min of intentional exercise
    2. I'll try for 6 WT (weight training) sessions this month. (I did 4 last month so I'll try to add 2 more this month)

  • My goal for February is to do some form of exercise 4x/week each week.
  • My goal for February is to do my sets of crunches and push-ups 4 times per week and to walk or cycle everywhere this month. The latter might sound like a lot to some people, but we live almost in the centre of a bike-friendly city and the furthest I have to go is a 40 minute bike-ride.
  • My February goal is 650 minutes of intentional exercise.
