What's the deal with V-8

  • Again, I am a little confused. (I love how I've been on these boards for less than a week and I've already asked about a year's worth of questions...)

In the morning, it says to drink a "vegetable juice." This I took to mean V-8 (it seems a reasonable assumption--how many vegetable juices are there on the shelves?). Even though I dislike most vegetables, V-8 works for me, so I was more than pleased with this. The thing is... we're not supposed to eat anything with MSG because it is processed from beets, but V-8 contains beet juice, as well as carrot juice which I would guess is also a no-no. Is V-8 really okay, or does the menu mean something else when it says vegetable juice? What do the rest of you do?
  • I drink v8 every morning and have lost 15 pounds.
  • he has a few inconsistencies in the menus. As far as i can tell V-8 is fine, but straight carrots or beets are NOT.
  • I do't like V-8 so I have tomato juice.
keep up the ??? this is how we all learn.
