  • Hey everybody! Last month was such a mess...! We had guests and it was hard to exercise and i had awful migraines in the past week, that compromised just about everything in my life.

This month my goal is to do 540 km on the stationaty bike, 5.000 steps a day (pedometer) and initiate strength training. I'm still having migraines and am not sure if i'll be able to exercise every day, though...
  • Goal: 540 km on my stationary bike, 5.000 steps a day, start strength training

In order to be able to reach the 5000 steps a day goal i might try to walk more on the next day if i don't reach 5000 steps the day before. This is the only solution i could come up with to stay motivated for the rest of the month given that it may be impossible to walk that much on some days. Will also not count steps on migraine days and may lower the amount of km i want to do on the stationary bike if i keep on having crysis. Hope it doesn't come to that. Do you think this is a good idea?

    11/1 = migraine
    11/2 = 3457steps; 31km
  • Welcome, everyone!

Who else wants to play with us?

Marina_Brasil: 540 km stationary bike, 5.000 steps a day, start ST

    FeraFilia: 100 miles walked
    Sum38: 1800 min
  • Goal: 1200 min including 8 strength-training sessions

    1: 30 walk; 30/1200
    2: 25 dance & stretch; 55/1200
  • I'm in!!! And really excited to get this opportunity to record it.

Asthma keeps me from walking outside most days, but working toward a minimum of 5,000 steps a day is one goal, inside or outside. Yesterday's walk was outside and I was over the 5,000. Today I'll probably walk the mall if temps remain low.

Second: Wednesday and Saturday I shall continue to work on strength and for one hour each of those two days. I actually enjoy seeing the strength building. I got my hour in, sweating heavily, on Nov. 1.

Next spring I shall be ready to garden again inspite of bad left knee. Strengthening the muscles around that knee is making a big difference.
  • Okay, I think I really need this. I have a hard time staying motivated to get to the gym when the evenings are dark so early.

My goal is 500 minutes at the gym.

That's about 2 hours at the gym/week, which is a lot more than I have been doing lately!
