Tues July 1

  • Good afternoon Ladies
    How is everyone doing. Havent been on here much lately. Been putting everything else first. And I have missed you all. My eating has been the pits. Have been having the munchies. Had a busy weekend. Had a candle party Saturday night. Then on Sunday had to take son back to school. Get to pick him up on Thursday. Then will have to take him back on Sunday. We ate at a place called Joe's Crab Shack on Sunday. I got bite size shrimp. I ate all the shrimp. But didnt eat all the fries. Passed on dessert. Then when we got home just picked. On Saturday night. Ate a type of veggie pizza. But it also had some bacon on it. Was pretty good. Then ate some dessert there.
    So really not looking forward to tonight. My scales is up about 5 lbs. So we will see. Will just have to try harder. I guess I have been down a little. I had set my goal for 5 lbs last month. I lost 4 1/2. But I have been a little bummed. I figure I should be able to lose 5 lbs in a month. I guess maybe I need to increase my excerise. I have only been walking a mile a day. So maybe the will be a goal for me this week. To try and walk 2 miles.See if that will help.

    FLGAL How are you doing. Hope you have a loss this week. I am sure you will. Have you have been doing terriffic. Keep up the good work.

    SHERRI Did you get your air fixed yet. I hope so. I know how miserable it can be without it. Oh what fun to go camping. I am missing that this year. But you can lose when you go camping. I have done it before. I just took alot of healthy snacks. Hope you have a great time.

    ELENI Congrats on the new grandbaby. That is wonderful.

    PENNY Good to have you back.

    To everyone else I am thinking of you. Hope everyone is staying OP. I will try and get back on track. Stay cool.

    Don't get discouraged. Four and a half pounds a month is Good . You're right we should be able to lose 5 pounds in a month, but look at me, I'm lucky to lose 1 lb. in a week. Last month I only lost 2 lbs. for the whole month and I worked at it. I stay around 1200 calories a day and the weight just doesn't come off. I need to increase my exercise, too. I'm told that when your metabolism is slowed down, exercise is the best thing. I guess that we just need to be thankful that we are losing, it's much better than gaining.
    Good luck at weigh in tonight. I hope your scale is wrong and that you at least have a turtle.
