Staying OP for the week 6/8-6/14

  • Thougth I would start the one week challange thread. Here we can post our menu's. And even something that we want to stay away from for the week. An example cake, potatoe chips, ice cream ect..... Good Luck everyone.
  • MENUS for 6/8 -6/14
    For Sun 6/8
    Breakfast Wheat bagel with swiss cheese and coffee with fat free swiss chocolate.

    Lunch 2 small pork chops and stuffing

    Supper 2 thin slices of canadian bacon

    Then I had 6 snack well chocolate peanut butter cookies
    And also a little debbie brownie.

    MY CHALLENGE THIS WEEK IS TO DRINK AT LEAST 64oz OF WATER A DAY.

    One of the things that I want to work on is controling my snacking and nibbling. My neighbor likes to bake and brings us cakes that she bakes and I want to take a small slice of it everytime I pass by. I need to learn to control that.

    My Sunday's Menu
    Breakfast:
    Special K cereal bar (early morning) 90 Cals.
    1 egg omelet
    1 sl. reduced calorie bread/ 1/2 TBS spreadable fruit
    1/2 Banana .. total of 299 calories

    Lunch:
    1/2 cup 1% cottage cheese
    1/4 cantaloupe, 6 strawberries, 1 slice fresh pineapple
    1 TBS cream cheese for strawberries
    4 baby carrots...total lunch calories .. 230

    Dinner;
    Fish, 1 cod fillet, breaded and baked
    1 serving of oven baked french fries
    green beans
    1 sliver pound cake ...total dinner calories - 559

    Snack:
    Other half of that banana ... 55 calories
    Total calories for the day.....1143
    I am allowed 1450 calories per day, but usually eat about 1200.

    Breakfast:
    1 cup berry burst cheerios
    1/4 cup fiber one cereal
    1/2 cup 2 % milk.
    coffee.......total breakfast calories...201

    Lunch:
    1 cup vegetarian chili
    3 crackers
    1/2 banana.... Total lunch calories of 288

    Dinner;
    1/4 cantaloupe
    1 Lime-sauced bnl sknl chicken breast
    salad/low-fat dressing
    1/2 cup rice
    green beans
    1 crescent roll/ pat whipped butter -- dinner calories 607

    snack: 13 cheez-it cracker for 75 calories

    total calories for day 1171

    Here's my menu for Monday June 9

    Breakfast
    1/2 cup egg beaters with mushrooms
    4 oz canadian bacon
    2 slices diet wheat bread
    Coffee with fat free swiss chocolate.

    SNACK
    1 oz cheese
    6 Triscuits

    LUNCH
    Slim fast bar

    SUPPER
    2 slices diet wheat bread and just a little mayo.
    1 slice cheese
    2 Veggie burgers
    2 cups green beans

    Have gotten all my water in.

    TUES JUNE 10
    This is weigh in day for me. I weigh in in the evening.

    BREAKFAST
    Slim fast bar
    Coffee with fat free swiss chocolate

    I am ashamed to even post this. But I guess I need to face the fact that I overate. So here goes.

    2 slices pizza
    1 cup hamburger helper
    1 cup chex mix
    2 scoops of chocolate peanut butter ice cream.
    and one of those new chocolate chip cookie bars.
    and 2 cans diet pop.

    Walked 2 miles this morning and yesterday also.

    Breakfast:
    1-1/4 cups cereal, 1/2 cup 2 % milk, 1/2 banana, coffee
    Total breakfast calories......256

    Lunch:
    Ham sandwich
    apple
    Total lunch...245 calories

    Snack:
    4 mini apple cinnamon rice cake spread lightly with cream cheese.
    75 Calories

    Dinner: I didn't get to make the dinner that I had planned on. DH came home and wanted to go to WalMarts. Then I had told a friend that I would go to a new auto clinic with her and didn't have time so I ate a subway sandwich and I had made a WW Key Lime pie and ate 2 slices of that So my dinner calories was 776.

    Total Calories for the day was 1352.....Still under my 1450

    I hope today is better than yesterday. But on weigh in days. I always feel I can eat what ever I want.

    2 slices wheat toast
    Swiss cheese.

    1/2 cup chex mix

    SUPPER

    1/4 cup milk

    Lunch:
    1 ham sandwich, (2 sl. ham, 2 sl. diet bread, lite mayo, lettuce and tomato)
    1/8 of ww key lime pie
    Total calories for lunch.....336

    Afternoon Snack:
    4 apple cinnamon mini rice cakes spread with 1 TBS cream cheese.
    75 calories

    Dinner:
    1/2 cup blueberries
    3 oz steak
    1 green pepper
    1 onion
    about 1 cup mushrooms (Steak and veggies stir fry)
    1/2 potato
    WW Key Lime pie ...Total Dinner Calories...548

    snack: Sweet Freedom Ice cream bar ...90 Calories

    Total Calories for the day.....1232
  • Hey ladies,

    I have been joining you this week even though I haven't had a chance to get here. I am proud to say that I have gone since sunday with no junk food. Saturday was the last day I had junk and I am doing great. My scale is down 3 lbs so far this week so I know I am going in the right direction.

    1/4 cup fresh blueberries....30...Total breakfast calories...253

    Lunch:
    cottage cheese/fruit...140
    1/2 banana 55
    1 sheet graham crackers ..70
    Total lunch calories.....................265

    Dinner:
    4 oz. Fresh Salmon, baked or broiled......
    summer squash...
    salad/ low fat dressing
    baby carrots, cooked....
    Thin slice of italian bread with butter
    Total calories for dinner.....491

    I made a delicious dessert with Angel food cake, sugar free jello, raspberries, yogurt and lite cool whip. It was hard to figure the calories, but I think it was about 218.

    Total calories for the day.......1227
  • Today was weigh-in for me. I lost .75 lbs.

    Breakfast;
    1 Special K cereal bar...90 calories (Didn't eat before weigh-in)

    Lunch:
    Egg salad sandwich (2 eggs, lite mayo, 2 sl. diet bread).... 302 cal.
    Raspberry trifle......218
    mini apple cinnamon rice cakes and cream cheese........75
    Total so far...685 calories. Got to take control and get back on track. May have to stick to veggies for dinner.

    Dinner calories...653
    Started with a healthy choice frozen dinner, but added a bite of this and a bite of that until I reached 653 calories.

    Total for day so far is...1338...May have popcorn later.

    2 slices diet wheat bread
    Coffee with fat free swiss chocolate

    Was off to a good start. The rest of the day has been the pits though. Have been picking on everything in sight.
