How do you get all your protien in?

  • HI

I am about to start the eating portion of Body Rx, and I am supposed to eat 260 gms of protien a day. I am trying to figure out how you do this. I am assuming I will need to supplement, which is fine, I rarely have time for breakfast anyways...... perfect time for a shake!

What do some of you do? I guess this question can go for the BFL'ers too.

    Thanks!

  • mmmm yum 260 grams of protein?
i'm going to have to read that book.
i usually only hit around 160 grams of protein a day so that is easy...

i would think you only need to increase portion sizes though....instead of eating half a chicken breast eat a whole one....etc
  • ebe....

Yes, on C1 of BRx, you eat one gram of protien per pound of weight, and well you can guess my weight In C2, it is 1.25 gms per pound, etc. This is defintely a high protien plan, but you also get carbs, which is one of the reasons I picked this plan. I also like the variety of foods. I came from WW, which is higher carb....and it just didn't work for me. Just a change in my thinking mode

  • aaaaaaah right you know after i posted that it occured to me.
i was thinking yum lots of chicken.
i weigh around 140 but end up with around 160 grams of protein.

i don't use any mrp though....easy to eat some cottage cheese or chicken/beef/fish every few hours.
    sigh
sometimes i feel like i could eat a lot more....
