UGH... too much protein?

  • Today, I kind of ended Lent by having fish(I'm waiting till Sunday for the other meats- and television!). Now, after 38 days of not having any meat, you can imagine I hope how wild I went. Smoked salmon, steamed cod, water-canned tuna.... ooh... I feel a little ill now. I've also been having some egg whites and veggies- very very full. Also feeling quite guilty.

This was supposed to be an 'on' day for BFL.

According to FitDay, I have consumed about 1850 calories, 20 fat grams, 66 carb grams and 337(!!!!!!!!) protein grams. I'm panicking a little because it's been ages, frankly, since I consumed more than 1500 calories, and the protein levels- whoa. Should I be worried? Should I count this as a free day? Should I cut down on protein for the next few days?
Anyone been in this position before?

Ohhh.... I hope I'm better-behaved on Sunday! I have frozen chicken breasts and some gorgeous fresh free-range turkey breasts with my name on it!!!!
  • good for you lore! i bet you're growing some major muscle too!

and unless you're like 65 pounds and 3 feet tall, your calories now sound even a bit low to me!

    enjoy your Sunday feast!
  • You really think so?

Well, I'm having tuna sashimi as I type, so ha ha ha ha ha
I'm just very happy to be having meat again!

    Thanks!
  • Gosh Lore... except for the protein that may be a LITTLE high... that's more or less a typical day for me.... Keep up the good work...
