17.6 lbs in one month!

  • My first mini goal was to loose about 8 kg (17.6 lbs)
I did it! Could have been more but I ate a bit too much fast food in time .. This month I'll try to have a total of 44 LBS loss we'll see!
  • Wait... in one month... you want to lose 44lbs?
That's NOT healthy, especially at your weight.

I also don't think anything you're doing to possible make that happen, could possible be something you keep doing for life, which is what weight loss. A life change. If you lose 30-40 lbs doing some fast... then once you finish, and start eating... you put it on... plus some.

I'm not saying that to be cold, just realistic. Losses are AWESOME and ussually the first week, a lot of people will drop more than any other week because all the water weight and the shock. But it's not healthy to expect that to continue. And with a BIG goal like that, you're probably going to be down on yourself if you don't do it, which will only hinder the process when you feel down or like you're not getting anywhere.

You should be losing 1-2 lbs a week to be healthy (Some people lose more). You should NEVER be eating less than 1200 cal a day, that's the basics to just get the necessities. Food isn't evil, it's too much and the wrong kind that does things to us. You need vitamins, fiber, Iron, all that jazz to function, and function correctly. Just try to make life changes you can stick to and also try to do it in a healthy way.

Just trying to help, not hinder. Congrats on the weight loss, and I hope you continue to lose weight and make your goal. Don't be like me and put it all back on. (Granted, mine was just complete laziness and indulging TOO much in everything because I'm a stress eater... my issues).
  • Hehe no hon I tried to say with a total weightloss of 44 .. so from this month and last month ooh I just wished I could do it but Im affraid I will end up in hospital do that would be about 22 lbs this month trying to loose...

Thank you. I have to agree. Losing that much weight so soon is a bit tricky. We're not damping on your weightloss, we're just concerned. Losing a great amount of weight in the first month is great but weightloss slows down later. So keep going but if the scale doesn't drop the way you want to, please don't be discouraged
