Newbie here!

  • Hey Guys,
I am just starting the BFL program and am looking for support! This is a great web site and there are some really great posts here. Can you guys share some of your accomplishments on BFL with me?

  • Hi Size14 (when will i be able to call myself that?????) LOL

welcome to this great bunch of people. hope to get to know you in the coming days.

i'm adriana. i'm 43 years old, single, mother of 5 and live here in israel.

i'm currently in the 6th week of my second challenge. C1 went wonderfully for me, i lost about 28 pounds of fat and went down two sizes in my clothes.

i do different weights programs, so i can't say i'm on an *official* BFL challenge... but i still like to take that 12 week time-frame and do my own challenge.

i did C1 90% by the book. the 10% difference was that i did a whole lot more cardio than the 20MAS. but the weights and food were exactly the same. and it all worked!!!

you'll love the program. i strongly suggest that you follow it to the letter for at least this first challenge. it's great stuff. you'll feel empowered, full of energy and strong. when you have a question, just ask away and someone will answer it.

    good luck,

    adriana
  • Hey, all!

Another newbie here. I just read the book today and will be starting the plan on Monday. I saw a lot of myself in that book. I *know* what to do, but obviously, my body has changed and I need to kick it in the a$$!

Anyway, I'm 37, married w/ two boys 10 and 7. I go to the gym at least 4-5 times a week, but have focused more on cardio with light weight lifting. I am toned under neath, but am having a hard time with the losing the fat. As my friend and I like to say, we have flab of steel!

I used to be in great shape until I hit about 31/32. Had no problem dropping the 50 pounds I gained with each pregnancy. Now, I gain and lose the same 5 pounds over and over again. My biggest downfall is sweets! Once I start eating sugar, I can't stop.

I look forward to reading everyone's success stories and hopefully will be posting some of my own!
