Phase 1, COMPLETED!

  • I completed phase one!(:

Yesterday, Tuesday, was the final day of Phase One for me! I am proud to say that I lost 12lbs!

I have a few questions about what is next, is it okay to pretty much to stay on Phase 1? I was thinking about doing this and introducing a few things, from Phase 2, maybe. Is that what makes Phase 1.5? What type of things would you include into that phase? I am reading the book and I check websites online but I would love to have the opinions of those of you on the diet too(:
  • Go to Phase 1.5 which u aptly described. Great work girlfriend! Add one fruit for 1 week or another Phase 2 food, add another serving of fruit to make 2 servings for one more week, then increase to 3 servings till u reach Phase 3.
  • Wow, that's fantastic! Congratulations!

I hope I lose even half as much when my first two weeks are completed.
  • Good for you! Don't worry or be surprised if the loss slows once you go to PH2; that's pretty common.

Here are several links that should answer your questions:

    What's your PH2 combo
  • Congratulations, Lindsay! Doesn't it feel good to have that all behind you? Please refer to the links WaistingTime posted to learn how to gradually introduce Phase 2. Good luck!
  • Congrats and Great Job!

I added one WW starch and one fruit a day. I gained a bit for a week (couple of ounces) but pretty much leveled out and now losing 1 pound a week or so.
  • Congratulations!
  • I have added FIBER ONE cereal to my diet for breakfast(It was so hard to get up at 445am and make breakfast and get to work before 545am the last 2weeks). I hope that it doesn't cause problems for me! We will see in a week I guess(: But, for everything else, its basically ph1.

Thanks for the links & help!
  • Congratulations! That is a really fantastic loss for Phase 1! The key with Phase 1.5 is to monitor how things affect your cravings/how long until you're hungry. For me, I had to add back things later in the day to avoid carb cravings. This phase is the hardest part IMO - listening to your body and experimenting and slow weight loss.
  • Congrats!

I added an apple first, then incorporated Ezekial sprouted breads in. I found that oatmeal triggers me to eat carbs so I don't have it unless we actually have oatmeal for dinner. We're all different.
  • Wow!!! That is so awesome!! Great job
  • Congratulations ! : D
Good luck on the new phase !
